Alright boys and girls. Haven't been in the scene for quite a long time. Whether scene means Runescape or Villavu. Been lurking more and more as of late though.
This isn't a build thread, or I just got a new computer, or whatever. I just got a bunch of towers and servers. I mean a bunch.
We are talking 20 Core 2 Duo with 1GB of ram Dell workstations, 5 dell 3ghz xeon dual core rack servers with 4gb of ram each, and a few 48 port gigabit switches.
Before I look at getting rid of these some how I was curious if anyone out there had a use or a project they could think of to do with them.
I was thinking anything from cluster computing to lots of virtualization to sand boxing to whatever.
The only bottleneck here is my internet pipe is only 50meg down and 5 meg up. Shitty american internet.
Anybody interested or have any ideas there want to throw at the wall and see if they stick?
