This script has come a long way from it's beta release, I suggest trying it!

Follow this guide to setup RuneScape for botting

Requirements:

• SRL-6-Fixed_Mode git branch
• Please checkout this page for info on hides as well as the process: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Make_Leather
• 83 Magic level
• Lunars Magic
• Access to Make Leather spell from LividFarms
• some starting cash, 20-30m is good but 6m+ will work
• Astral and Body runes
• Staff of fire

Instructions:

1. Read through the script
2. Equip a staff of fire
3. Load first 2 inv slots with astral and body runes
4. Go to soul wars chest,
5. If starting logged in, face north with angle up
6. Fill 1st row Last column bank slot with dragonhide
7. 6th actionbar slot must be bound to spell and set as key 6

NOTES:
Profit is based on prices.
The script is in my mind completely failsafed and should either terminate and or flawlessly.

I luckily utilised flight's livid farm script while it was working :D

UPDATE
Added support for all dragonhides. I tested each kind, should be good.

could you not make one to tan hides in that swamp place (i forget its name). It has a better reliable walking system than alkharid. That would still be decent money and from what I've heard is cheaper than the spell.

using the tanner is cheaper, but it is slower.
meaning… less gp/hr. this method also prevents people from complete goldfarming it as it requires lunars as well as a fair amount of livid farm time.
+10 for this rather than a runner.

I made one for in burthorpe couple days ago.

it's like 2300 tans/hour , 1m+/h

I chose to go with this method for a number of reasons. I believe it is slightly higher GP/H. It has requirements and it also gives exp, even though I'm 99. I'd much rather get EXP then just exercise the run button.

Large Update

• Will ONLY WORK with srl-6 FIXED mode
• added a reset funciton incase it messes up
• you can start the script at any stage
• fail safed the script so it does't do dumb things
• added dynamic waits to pretty much everything
• removed an accidental infinite loop
• you can start the script logged in or out
• more informative debug

except…
this was for blacks, and i used yesterday's prices… and script prolly inst running at optimum 900 casts/hr (actually running around 830 casts/hr), but still. it should atleast somewhat close… and not 1/2 of what im calcing.
– if someone notices the error in the spreadsheet, please let me know.


edit: quick update. had to sell blacks fairly below mid to even sell after ~36 hrs. id suggest avoiding those for the time being.

You can look at the math in the script, it is very possible that I messed something up?

line 319:

  supplyCost := invTanned*5 + (costofAstrals*2) + (costOfBodys*2); 

used to be

  supplyCost := invTanned*5*(costofAstrals*2) + (costOfBodys*2);

but that still doesnt increase it by too much. went from 1.4m to 1.8ish, which doesnt scale with the projected 2.9m/hr

Small update

fixed bugged "xCloseBank" coords
fixed some math logic
small other fixes

Make Leather is a lunar spell unlocked by training at the Livid Farm. It costs 489,200 produce points to unlock (roughly 26 hours of Livid Farm)

Unfortunately Flight doesn't play RS3, is confused with the game itself and would probably get lost in the cow fields. Also, Flight has yet to download SRL-6. Sorry mate but I don't believe I will be updating it, apologies! But with Brandon's OLG interception I'm sure such a script would be quite easy to throw together, no?

No worries Flight, I would use OGL, but there seems to be a memory leak and I cannot get it to run for any longer then 5 minutes without dropping down to a nice 1 FPS :(

I really want to run this, I just havent done Lunar Diplomacy and havent even gotten close to starting Livid farms… Mind you, I should do it so I can eventually pay for my membership in-game. :p

check prices on RS grandexchange. I also suggest min selling* and max buying** to determine accurate GE buy/sell prices


*sell royal leather for 1 gp and record the price you got
**buy royal d'hide for 1m and record the price you paid

The economy seems to be improving, I'm going to credit bonds :p At anyrate, I'm improving this script! I have a version, currently private, that uses presets. It tans right around 5,000 hides an hour.
