I don't get it, why not just PM Ben about this? Do you have to make it public to everyone will know that you removed SMART from that include?

Also, about your other thread, did you see any topics on the SCAR forums about us releasing SRL-6? So why inform the Simba/SRL community of OSI? It's very much irrelevant here.

Let's have a lesson in appropriate conversation and staying on topic so that we can prevent spam battles and escalation in the future (sorry to use you as an example, but here it goes).

1) This response is off topic: it has nothing to do with the OP which is about SMART being removed from OSI
2) This response is combative: it invites a battle. you have insulted someone, and people usually respond to insults with insults.
3) This response is not made by a moderator/admin: simply put, you are not the police of what gets posted here - feel free to report or notify someone more appropriate if you feel it necessary.
4) Notice how Wanted Returns reacted much more appropriately to your post than you did to his. Who is at fault here?

That depends on the nature of the information, and in this case it has nothing to do with us. What you claim as misinformation is classified based on your opinion, it doesn't give you the right to notify everyone else. Again I question; why do you keep returning here if there's so much/many you disagree with?

"Infractable Offenses" section, rule entitled Backseat Moderating.

If you see something that breaks the rules, please report the post […] Please do not chastise or reprimand other users. We have able and competent staff who will handle the situation accordingly.

Why did you remove smart from OSI? I see no reason for BenLand to request it being removed. All you had to do is to link it up to the source of the version you use (https://github.com/FHannes/SMART), and include his credits…

@Wanted; your take on SMART? Why was it removed, what features were missing, what leading causes made your staff feel better off without SMART?

Zyt3x. Yes I'll fit you back into the credits.

OSI is a product meant for fun/learning as is SRL. SMART helps people do that.

I have a lot of respect for these forums and everyone here… but I have to draw the line somewhere. I can't be accused of 'stealing code' etc. if that's the case we'll do whatever it takes to correct it.

I removed SMART because we are starting to get into higher grounds of legal issues etc. something I don't want to deal with… especially if all the facts aren't straight.

I have to go now… best of wishes everyone.

How come whenever someone posts, you feel the need to go on the attack or get really defensive? I'm really, really, really am trying to stay indifferent IceFire, but you're making it difficult. You want to show people that you're a good coder? Well, this attitude game you're playing isn't helping your side.
