I think a lot of ppl started scripting for rs cheating and so learned pascal. And after that they found out that pascal is the language for Delphi and that you can make programs with delphi. So a lot of ppl want to start with delphi now;):f:

SCAR is quite simple compared to delphi. So I can see many people quitting delphi quickly too..

People started learning Delphi after the release of Divi…that should be enough info for why they did it.
