SRL Archive - S.M.A.R.T.

Hello!
I have been trying for ages to simpley get SRL/SMART to WORK.
As all the tutorials I find are either outdated or aren't complete, it just won't work. And I have tried everything I can think of.
These problems are with Simba 1.0
If someone could PLEASE make a COMPLETE guide for installing simba, srl, smart and setting up for Old School Runescape, I would be eternally grateful, and I am pretty sure many others will too.
Also, please inlcude the appropriate links :)
If you do it, I will love for always and forever

And please, if you could start from a clean computer without anything related to simba etc installed that would be amazing, or at least have links to everything I need, it would be amazing :)

Hmm, This is all from my head, but here you go.

• Install Simba from this link
• Open Simba
• Click View->Show Extensions
• Click Extensions->Check for Update
• Wait for Extensions to update if needed
• Close and Reopen Simba
• Click View->Extensions
• Click srl.sex, Enable it
• Click SRL->Check for Update
• Wait on Plugins and SRL to update
• Close and Reopen Simba
• Try Test script, it should open SMART.

- Test Script -

program new;
{$DEFINE SMART}
{$I SRL-6/srl.simba}

begin
  setupSRL();
end.

There are a few errors you could get after all of this, and require an extra step or two.

I cannot remember the error exactly, but here ya go.

If you get an error about Fonts or an unknown identifier with a font name as it, You need to update Fonts. (Simba should do this for you, just wait for it then restart Simba)
The other error has instructions when you get it iirc.

No, you need to download the zip from the srl-osr github. And place it in your include folder. Be sure to remove the -master from the folder name. Its smart to also install the al_functions and the minireflection include

Thank you, OSRS opens up, but while the script I use (Master farmer pickpocket) claims that it uses text edit popups, this doesnt happen. OSRS just opens, then the console says Successfully Executed.

What to do? 0.o

If you go to script > interpreter > what are you using? Pascalscript or lape?

[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SPS\sps-osr.simba(393:53): Invalid number of parameters at line 393

and it highlights in the sps-osr.simba file

Idk i never used sps. I use reflection :)

hey hoodz, on your barbfisher script at the top it says (define smart8) it doesn't need to say 8.2? because I can't get any script that uses 8.2 to work

You need the newest version of smart (8.3) and the newest version of srl-osr

This is the message I get when I try to update my SRL, just downleaded Simba 1.0:
Loading extension Extensions\srl.sex
./PlayerManager.sei doesn't exist
Error in Simba extension compilation (Extensions\srl.sex) : Unable to find file './PlayerManager.sei' used from ''
Extension Disabled - Did not compile
…..then nothing…..

I've never understood why it's such a task to install and get Simba running 100%..
