I'm finally ready to take the plunge and start contributing to the community, I wanted to make some scripts but with the new SRL 6 Include and the obvious lack of scripts floating around is this a bad time?
I'd really like help learning but all of the tutorials seem out of date…

Seening as SRL-6 was recently 'released', many people are still getting the grasp of things as it has changed. Just give it some time and I am sure some tutorials will pop up soon :)

look at scripts for examples, justin's fletcher for example. just try to understand what he did, thats how i learned it :)

I'll give that a go thanks, you seem to have a lot of scripts for OSR, I'm guessing that is different though due to the different include?

those are written for pascalscript, srl6 released not that long ago, is for lape. but i think its pretty similar

Do you think its possible to make a script by following this:
http://blog.wizzup.org/blog/lape#introduction-to-lape and just using functions that I find in the SRL 6 include?

Check out the
SRL 6 Documentation page. It really helped me get started with the basic stuff like interacting with the inventory etc. Just look at the example code.
