ok, i went to F1 help and went to the forms help. i do what it says, put a button where ever, then i only get this when i load the DFM

  frmDesign : TForm;
  Button1 : TButton;

and it says there must be a lot of crap?????

Look through it all, make sure it's perfect, else add my msn niallcoates at msn dot com and send me the file(the form thing, can't be arsed to go look for the right file type but meh).

Dumb question, but did you save the form before you imported it?

Did you scroll up? The declarations are at the bottom when it's loaded..
