tried searching... "Duplicate Declaration" Error simba.simba

Hi,

I've done nothing other than follow the guides to install simba, + SRL-OSR etc. I've tried multiple scripts, all getting this error:
Exception in Script: Duplicate declaration "AddDTM" at line 163, column 38 in file "C:\Simba\Includes\SRL-OSR\SRL\core\simba.simba"

I've uninstalled, re-installed, etc etc. Anyone know why I would be getting this error, with the standard install procedure?

Thanks

Simply remove that method/field in the include/other place where it is at.

Hi,

thanks for the reply. I've searched and can't see it elsewhere… And being just the default install, surely it shouldn't be in multiple spots?

Having this same issue.

Was running fine in the past hour or so, then stopped it, and went to restart, and got this message.

Exception in Script: Duplicate declaration "__PATH_PLAYER" at line 26, column 43 in file "C:\Simba\Includes\srl-6\lib\core\players.simba"

Please help!

@xsorrels; What script are you trying to run and what version of the game are you trying to play (RS3 or OSRS)? Are you using SMART or the browser?

you probably just need to override your srl, do a manual update

Im having the same issue "Exception in Script: Duplicate declaration "__PATH_PLAYER" at line 26, column 43 in file "C:\Simba\Includes\srl-6\lib\core\players.simba" It started today. I ran the script for 4-5 hours. Restarted simba and now no scripts run.Restarted the pc. Forced updates on SRL and extensions. Still the same. I don't think the script is at fault here.

theres players.simba and players_old.simba in simba.includes.srl-6.lib.core folder. Should there be two simba player? If i delete the old one it stil says more or less the same thing in the debug.

Open file D:\Simba\Includes\srl-6\lib\core\players.simba and remove it's contents, leaving empty file.

Thank you, that fixed the problem. Client loads again. Why did it started happening all of a sudden?

Worked!
All you need is to open it with simba, delete all the codes, close and save! Thanks!

This was caused by an update in SRL-6 to make it compatible with both Simba 1.0 and Simba 1.1. But it wasnt SRL-6's fault. It was really SPS's fault. So if you were to run a script without SPS, you would have no problem. SPS has been updated, and you should just need to update SPS. (if it says sps is up to date and you still get this, force update both SPS and SRL-6)
