Imagine Jagex were to introduce a new program called Premium Members or something. It would cost around $3 extra and it would include more areas to access, new quests, new items, new ways to train skills, new skills, and would create some high gp/h and/or xp/h methods for the new and existing skills. There would be new worlds reserved for premium members.
Would you be for or against it? Would you buy it? Post your thoughts.

But people are already paying extra for those things they barely get. Why would I pay more for what I'm supposed to get now and then have basic member's lose the advantage it's supposed to have?

At this moment something like that is happening , if we compare OSRS with Rs3 but price stays the same for membership.
Want new cosmic content play Rs3.
Want oldschool -> OSRS

I think it is not good that there are so many people in support of this in the thread. The poll says otherwise, but I see that most of the comments here are actually in support of a more expensive membership.
It would be nice to see some reasoning behind this, because why would you want to pay more?
Maybe we are dealing with some really loyal Jagex customers here.

I don't know how's jagex's situation at the moment with runescape. With the recent amount of people online, I don't think their income has been enough, so I'd buy this idea… Maybe some people would leave because of it, but let's remember of all the "shit" jagex has already done and people still seem to buy them: Solomon's store, squeal of fortune, now the bonds… Your idea isn't bad, I think.
