I was able to change to a couple fonts with no issues but I only tried like 3 of them

He's saying no matter what font he selects he gets weird spacing issues….

Edit: Ah it seems to be forcing the font to be mono-spaced lol…

Great I'll download this version this morning. Also, is it possible someone could compile SPS with this Simba so we have an updated plugin to use again? Any Simba 1.0 has access violations when trying to run SPS.

Edit:
One more thing; for some reason SmartGraphics.simba (SRL-OSR atleast) gives compile issues but in this new Simba all we receive as an error is "Compile failed". No reason, no location.

I can look into it later, and append it to the release on GitHub. (This will def be done for Simba 1.0 release)

I'll look into this later, are you using Lape or PascalScript?

Apologies I forgot to include that bit; this is using standard PS.

If I try to compile SRL-OSR in Lape I get compile errors and every attempt at compiling the error states a new, non-existent line. Let me give you an example:

Reports.simba (485 lines max)
Compile 1: "Exception in Script: Unknown declaration "old" at line 3491, column 39 in file "D:\Simba1.0\Includes\SRL-OSR\SRL\misc\reports.simba""
Compile 2: "Exception in Script: Unknown declaration "old" at line 3869, column 39 in file "D:\Simba1.0\Includes\SRL-OSR\SRL\misc\reports.simba""
Compile 3: "Exception in Script: Unknown declaration "old" at line 3473, column 39 in file "D:\Simba1.0\Includes\SRL-OSR\SRL\misc\reports.simba""

In-between compiles nothing changed. Can you explain that? Tried with even "{$DEFINE Lape}", same result.

Let's start a remake SRL-OSR for Lape, then; a nice project for SRL Members+, no?

As for on-topic: This is looking purely awesome. Great work everyone! I love it!

OSR already compiles in lape :p, I was thinking of re-doing osr "srl-6" style after srl6 is out and running it would be ridiculous easy (interface wise) to srl6.

SPS needs re-building regardless if it's ps or lape, aside from that I agree, i wouldnt even mind if these new Simba's didn't even include ps.. :D

Try downloading Simba-1.0-rc4b. It compiles fine for me in both Lape and PS. (At least when I remove the functions that have been added to Simba)

If you're using Lape, it will automatically define Lape. You shouldn't be defining Lape in PS.

Yeah it does compile but (there is no Setup func) the OSR include was made around the other includes and was left with chunks of other includes everywhere. It's old, it needs a complete re-write from scratch rather than patch work everywhere. Lape is a "sort" of a 'new' framework. We can't be expecting an old legacy include to be running with all the wrappers left in tact. Just opening SRL.Simba alone, you can see the massive amount of {$IFDEF}'s and preprocessor stuff.

The amount of posts there are for "Omg.. smart params error" is out of hand. So I agree with you I'd help re-write it if someone started a git.

I started with bank after reading your post. The signatures aren't all correct but if I had to solo it, I'd at least use an enum for the amount of banks there are.. Would of course break everything in existence but meh..

Just an EXAMPLE:

type TBANKLOC = (FALADOR_EAST, FALADOR_WEST, VAROCK_EAST, VAROCK_WEST, GRAND_EXCHANGE,
DRAYNOR, ALKHARID, EDGEVILLE, CATHERBY, CAMELOT, NORTH_ARDOUGNE, SOUTH_ARDOUGNE,
YANILLE, NORTH_GNOME_VILLAGE, SOUTH_GNOME_VILLAGE, WARRIOR_GUILD, FISHING_GUILD,
SOULWARS, CASTLEWARS, BURTHORPE, GAMERS_GROTTO, SHANTAY_PASS);

type TBank = packed record
__NONE: Char;
end;

Function TBank.IsOpen: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.DepositScreen: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.IsPinPending: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.ConfirmPin: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.PinScreen: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.ClosePinScreen: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.CountItems: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.EnterPin: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.ToBPoint(MSPoint: TPoint): TPoint;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.ToBPoint(Index: Integer): TPoint; overload;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.ToIndex(BankPoint: TPoint); Integer;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.DepositAll: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.QuickDeposit(): Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.Withdraw(): Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.Search(): Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.IsNotesEnabled: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.SetNotes(Enabled: Boolean): Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.Close: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.OpenDepositBox: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.OpenNPC: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.OpenChest: Boolean;
Begin
End;

Function TBank.Find: Boolean;
Begin
End;

I just figured out what it was, I had a Fonts set named "UpChars07(Old)" and it must have been the "(old)" that triggered the compile error. How weird… I would have expected a Fonts-loading error to happen on start-up, not compiling. After adjusting a bit in the include, as you did, it compiles fine now in Lape.

Edit:
Also when SPS is compiled with Simba 1.0 could we also push for the newest SMART as well? According to Simba the newest SMART available is 7.2 and if I move the 8.2 plugins to Simba 1.0 there's issues with pairing; immediate script execution.

You mean the news? That has nothing to do with it… 8.2 should work fine. I'll try later tho.

Works for me, keep in mind OSR wasn't made for Lape nor Simba 1.0.

Simba 1.0, SRL 6, SMART 8.3

No.
type TBank = type UInt8;

^ Creates a copy of the type UInt8, named TBank. Without the second type, it just creates an Alias.

Also your capitalized bold letters kill me…

Wonderful, then let's get an completely new SRL-OSR going then. Build it to compile only in Lape and follow SRL-6's style. I'll use your above Bank sample and see how far I can get; I've never worked with Lape before so I'll probably look over the tutorial you wrote.

Alright, it must be an SRL-OSR issue then, not SMART & Simba 1.0 as I thought.
