heyyy … so i was kinda thinking about trying to get the quest cape, i haven't played runescape legit for something like 3yrs (not counting the odd 20minutes here and there). i have something like 100-110 quest points at the moment and the majority of the skill requirements, just wondering how long people reckon the rest would take … ish? im in no hurry or anything, just something to do in my free time, so it may take me a while :p

also do many of you have the quest cape? is it worth it in your opinion? ive always kinda liked the look of it, and its a little more impressive than a standard skill cape imo, with the exception of things like slayer :)

A few hours for some great rewards, I would say it is worth it.

Is this on RuneScape 2007 or on RS3? It is going to take more than a few hours but the newer RS3 quests seem pretty fun. I just hated the skilling part but it was all worth it when I got the quest cape back in 2009 or something. It's also a good idea to do all of the achievement diary's. I walked around like this


Average quest takes around 1,5h and gives 2 qp so you need like 100 quests = 150h.

oh yeah, i was on about RS3 … and that was around the time i was kinda hoping to see, thanks man :D

yeah i have most of the skills so thats not really a problem :) just checked and i have 143qp at the moment … only 200 to go! woopwoop!

i think i'll give it a go, maybe get it by the end of the year? hopefully … if i can keep up the botting as well i should be getting close to a good account by then as well :p

I'm going for it.
It's not actually a goal but I love doing quests and learn runescape story line (and the rewards are quite good and helpful), I've done almost all of them.

Quests is one of the few things I bare when I'm playing legit and probably the main reason I still play that game.

If you want my opinion, I think you should go for it.

Its also great way to make it seem like you don't only bot :p

Don't go for it if you just want the cape. It's gonna be a pain in the ass and time-consuming and you might even not use the cape(I got it and give a sh** about it on my bank; it has less status than most of the skill capes.). Tough, if you like questing, even if just a little, the I'd recommend doing them. From 100-320 qp I'd say it would take… 3 weeks playing around 4h a day… Idk, this is too subjective lol. Questing is fun :P

Better to spend this time more productive and have some fun looking at pictures or learning a book.

Even though RS3 has come, have they increased quest for free members or is it the same? cause i completed all my quest and there was not much to do so i had quit it.

Depends how dedicated you are it could take 1 month ish and depends which quests u have left
