Hello. I recently got back into botting and I was wanting to use Simba again, but when I set up SMART 8.3 I keep recieving this error. I've reinstalled Simba/Smart 3-4 times, my environment variables are set, and I've followed all of YoHoJo's tutorial videos to an exact. The test script I'm running is:

program new;
{$DEFINE SMART8}
{$i srl/srl.simba}

begin
ClearDebug();
SRL_SIXHOURFIX := TRUE;
SMART_FIXSPEED := TRUE:
SetupSRL();
end.

and the exact error is:

Simba news:

Small update; I (Wizzup?) will be getting some more free time soon; expect
the release of 994 very soon, followed by the first alpha of Simba 1.0!

As always, see you on our homepage; http://villavu.com

Thank you for using Simba,
Hakuna Matata.

The block of code it is referring to:

(*
FixSmartSpeed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
.. code-block:: pascal
procedure FixSmartSpeed;
Fixes Smart's Loading Speed.
Moves the Mouse & Adjusting the Canvas Refresh rate.
Example:
.. code-block:: pascal
*) //Line 62
procedure FixSmartSpeed;
var
T: Integer;
begin
T:= GetSystemTime + 2000;
While (Not SmartEnabled) Do
begin
if (GetSystemTime >= T) Then
Break;
Wait(500);
end;
While (GetColor(382, 252) = 0) Do
begin
If RSReady then
Break;
SmartSetRefresh(SmartGetRefresh + 1);
MMouse(4, 4, 0, 0);
SmartSetRefresh(SmartGetRefresh - 1);
if (GetSystemTime >= T) Then
Break;
Wait(500);
end;
end;
Well, I don't have any idea of what FixSmartSpeed does, since I don't use it… but I see an error on that code block, altough it could be just a mistake in copy/pasting it…
*
FixSmartSpeed
.. code-block:: pascal
procedure FixSmartSpeed;
Fixes Smart's Loading Speed.
Moves the Mouse & Adjusting the Canvas Refresh rate.
Example:
*) //Line 62
procedure FixSmartSpeed;
var
T: Integer;
begin
T:= GetSystemTime + 2000;
While (Not SmartEnabled) Do
begin
if (GetSystemTime >= T) Then
Break;
Wait(500);
end;
While (GetColor(382, 252) = 0) Do
begin
If RSReady then
Break;
SmartSetRefresh(SmartGetRefresh + 1);
MMouse(4, 4, 0, 0);
SmartSetRefresh(SmartGetRefresh - 1);
if (GetSystemTime >= T) Then
Break;
Wait(500);
end;
end;
See how everything useful got blue? That isn't good, since it doesn't compile blue things (altough it's a string).
In the first line there there is a "*" unopened with a "(" –> it should be like this: "(*"
Ah yes. That was only a copy pasting issue.
Try changing ":" for ";" where I sinalized in the SIMBA code.
I couldn't test it in my simba, so I'm just suggesting…
I have the same problem, it is something to do with changing the SmartSpawnClient for use with 8.3 but as of yet i cannot figure out where EXACTLY the new code needs pasting as the 8.3 setup post is a little vague.
