So I have this assignment that I thought would work by now, but I still haven't been able to get input and output working correctly. I need to be able to input a file and have it create a new file and output the results. Here is my code, below are an example of one input and one output

This is due in about two hours, any help would REALLY be appreciated right now.
I keep getting "usage: input_file_name output_file_name"

Make sure to place the input file in the project working directory, not the src folder if using Eclipse.

Also, the output you are posting is what happens when you don't supply the correct amount of arguments to your Java program. Make sure to encapsulate both file names in quotation marks if they contain a space.

Thank you, the problem was I didn't put both the input and output name in the arguments tab of run configurations.
