Will Smart run on a Raspberry Pi?

I am thinking about buying a Raspberry Pi, its a credit card mini computer with 512 MB SD ram and a 700 MHz ARM1176JZF-S core that can run a few distros of linux. I looked in to it a little bit and people say it wont run wine, runescape, or any x86 style stuff so I'm guessing simba and smart wont work either, but I figured it was worth asking.

I'm going to guess no. I haven't tried myself, but if it can't run Runescape then you also can't run SMART.

512MB isn't much and that processor isn't that great either. So I'm guessing no in terms of your specs… But I don't know about getting it to actually run with Java and all that

Thanks for the fast replies, I figured not.
Raspberry pi still looks pretty cool for around 20 bucks.

Meh well just remember a general tip: You get what you pay for

I don't think Simba/SMART will run on an ARM processor

We can get Simba to run on ARM with some work, tho if RS wont run, SMART wont.

well if you wanted to buy more than one piece of pi you could build something like this.

You could get a JVM for ARM (most android devices are ARM after all) and then you could technically build SMART for ARM though I have not tried this. As long as your Pi is running some kind of linux, all the framework is technically there to run SMART.
