Odd Problem with Volume Settings

Whenever I log into RS, my music volume is always turned down to minimum/muted. The login menu music plays fine, as well as the in-game voiceovers, sound effects, ect. sliders are turned up to normal and play at normal volume, but the in-game music slider is always down and muted. When I adjust it, it will act normally as long as I'm logged in but once I log out it slides back down to muted. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've tried deleting the game's local data, but no dice there. Any other thoughts?

EDIT: Whenever I log on, this is what it is set to. When I adjust the sliders it works fine, but if I log out and log in again, it always resets to this.

Happens to me regardless of whether I'm using SMART or the official client. It's weird.. I thought it was just a bug in Smart but when it happened on official client too I thought it was my system lol.

Phew..

I tried CCleaner, that didn't help it any. I'm short on ideas now, but I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Have ya'll tried deleting the actual Runescape cache and your associated settings? That should fix it, but it might just be an RS related bug.

Yeah, I've tried just about everything that can be done locally, so it must be something on their end. I tried to get in touch with tech support a couple days ago, but haven't heard back from them yet.

Ahhh, another question… People actually use the RS volume for anything?
