How feasible would a dungeoneering script be using OGL for RS3?

Could it be possible? How much work would be involved?

Pretty possible.. but in my opinion and this is just my opinion it's not worth it becase of all the bans dungeoneering bots get now :/ the golden days of botting dung are over

The scale of the project would be insane. And Imagine if jagex did one graphics update? or one small update. Have fun getting 50000000 New Hooks and colours.

Possible? Yes. Very few things are impossible, just depends on how much effort and time you want to put into it.

Logical? I would say no, Mostly cause the amount of work and the fact i dont believe anyone would do it for no pay. along with consistent updating and really the days of dungeonering are over…Chaotic are not needed as much anymore. I just dont see the use.

Yeah… I guess I'm never getting any good dungeoneering levels.

Go to 'd squires' friends chat, they'll tutor you.

I know how to dugeoneer, I just hate doing it :p

Possible but I doubt anyone would bother. It's probably a little harder than doing it in reflection (since opengl is harder for narrowing down items and stuff? (its not perfect)
But if anyone does want to, I'd wish them the best of luck.

What if you could automate the hook updating?

I dont think you can..Since its based math and stuff, no source to just "get it" from. I could be totally wrong tho…Ask @Brandon He would know.

Still would be a ton of work..idk how you would go about all the puzzles and stuff in colour/OpenGl since there is almost unlimited number of different puzzle combos.

If you just want to level dg but not really work, make some money, leech floors. lot easier

I think if anyone attempted this it would be as a large group of people. and/or for the learning experience

Maybe just take it one step at a time, not necessarily to make a dungeoneering script but the tools that could come from attempting to make one could be helpful, e.g. Automatic Hook Updater.

I could do with OGL, but would take forever :(

I think dungeoneering would be too complex to do unpaid… maybe as a group project, but other than that, very difficult to maintain and create alone.

1. There is no way to "auto" update hooks.

2. Hooks never need updating unless a whole new game engine is released and even then, probably 1 or 2 lines would need a change.

3. Something has to update and if it isn't hooks, then it is the ID's of the objects being rendered. So you'd just have to update your script basically.

It is harder in OpenGL than reflection for the obvious reason that it acts like a human in that you can only gather information for things you can see. Items can actually be 100% as accurate as reflection but the models have huge ID's and it's annoying to update those when a graphical update happens. That would still require a lot of work on jagex's part though.. and they can't make it dynamic either so it'd be very hard for them to break as well.

Still.. It's harder than reflection and it is doable it's just long and a lot of work.

Possible, but I doubt anyone is going to make one for public.
