JDDiv - A Divination Script

2013-08-20 14:53:03

IN TOTAL REWRITE! PLEASE BE PATIENT AS IT MAY TAKE SOME TIME!

Ecclesiastes 7:9
"Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools."

Update on script
So far, I have done a little bit of the script. At the moment it is not functioning but I have received some messages asking if I was even working on it.
It is not ready to be run yet, nor will it even load SMART!

program jdDivOGL;
{$DEFINE SMART}
{$I SRL-6/SRL.simba}
//{$I Sps/Sps.Simba}

// Most of this script is either copy and pasted from the include, or closely rendered fromt he include.
// This script would not have been remade if not for the help of Uri (Skype)/ Serajin (SRL)
// Thanks for the motivation from rtrty10
// SRL-6 is a bitch to learn
// Hopefully this script helps a few other people learn some SRL-6 lingo

How can you run it without SMART? After I got banned by just using the client on PB I'm paranoid about using 3rd party clients. >.<

I put the "//" in front of the smart code but I can never seem to figure it out.

I wouldn't run this script, but I am actually running it with smart.
You would have to do some editing to your include to get everything working.

Do you know how to do that or redirect me somewhere on how I can figure out how to do that?

I never did it before the "{$I SRL/SRL/MISC/SMARTGRAPHICS.SIMBA}" so ima see if that works.

Thanks!

EDIT: It works! Sweet! :-D

ChatBoxUp always returns true.
Theres a KeyDown, but no KeyUp.

if (IsDiv) then
repeat
Wait(1000);
until not (IsDiv);
– possible infinite loop, could be shortened to
while IsDiv do Wait(1000);
– although, it should be a shorter wait (so it stops divining faster) as well as have some random in there.
while IsDiv do
Wait(50 + Random(50));
And it should probably have a timeout too or something.

I use Old School interface setup. If you are unsure of how to set that up press Escape and there will be a drop down menu with presets.

Well I JUST got 10 div using the rather crappy xp divination provides. So I'm working on flickering ones now.

Everyone says they just "whipped this up and tossing it here"
No.. I didn't just whip this up. I put some effort in and tested a while before having to go to work.
I just thought maybe somebody would like to try this out and fix it up, at the moment it has quite a few kinks, but it occasionally does what its supposed to. So here it is. Don't be shy. Just make sure you have SMART up and logged in.

Enjoy. I'll be back later and see what I can do.

EDIT: So I posted what I've done a little bit on. At the moment its pretty debug box intensive..
I changed most of the getcolor functions to TPA, but even they tend to be inaccurate. I've changed them multiple times and they usually return false which I'm probably doing wrong. It usually just finds a pale wisp, clicks on it, then returns false for isDiv. After that it walks to the rift, and then clicks on more wisps. It no longer clicks on the rift like its supposed to.

EDIT2: Reached 10 Div… so I changed some stuff and optimized it for flickering. Not much to change though. It works fairly good.

I think its not working too bad aside from the fact that it will occasionally deposit memories before a full inv.

EDIT3: Fixed the inventory error I think. Working well at the moment. If you want to use the tier 1 wisps and are unsure of how to get the script I just recently posted, please pm me and I will help you.
Happy divining guys.
@Justin do you have rights to add a divination section? You're the first person to come to mind.
EDIT4: This could also just get moved to development or wherever you see fit. Just make sure its in the public.

Only Administrators can add sections, I'll pass the suggestion on to the higher ranks.

I'm not high enough level to use the karamja one yet, so just pretty much changed the walkpath. If you can wait til I'm that level I can look further into that.

Would it be possible for you to put in the options for all wisps as you level up?
So add in a selection const so users can select which location/wisp they are up to, and as you level up, add in the other options?

That would make this awesome. And save people asking for every new version as you go or old ones you might have skipped.

No I would like this to be public. You can put this somewhere that it's likely to be seen by those looking for such a script. I was thinking Development Lounge, yet at the same time that's for scripts in dev… this script is functional with additions being added daily (updating tomorrow to AIO what I have already to the new and improved V-whatever of JDDiv)

So in other words could you please put this in a public section where it can be actively noticed. That would be lovely.

EDIT: And could you pretty please with a cherry on top rename the title to: JDDiv - A Divination Script

The full inventory recognition is a bit sketchy. Also, if the rift isn't visible in the game window, it can't find it.

Awesome script so far, and the includes don't seem to interfere or malfunction Riwu's tear collector script (for anyone wondering).

The only criticism I have though is that if no one else is doing divination around you (tested in free worlds lol…) the script doesn't click pale wisps and therefore won't function. Of course as long as someone opens a pale spring the script works perfectly. I'm not sure if this problem persists with other wisps but it really probably isn't that significant atm

Edit: NVM spoke too soon, my bad! it doesn't actually recognize when your inventory is full and continues to try and collect energy :(

So just sit tight and we'll see what the mystical Wu can come up with. Feel free to post some inventory code stuff on your own?

I just have a suggestion. Instead of checking to see if the divination skill pop-up is there, you can use the xp bar to see if you're gaining xp. That way, you won't have to wait 5 seconds for the skill pop-up to disappear.

Wu-Tang Clan, I had an inventory glitch with a script in the members section. This is what demise told me to do and it fixed the script.

Writeln(GL_InvCount); with inventory full, you get a number back, then enter that into GL_InvFull; in inventory.simba
Apparently every person has a different inventory full size so they need to change that themselves (mine was 29, while demise's was 28) etc.

It's this thing : http://prntscr.com/1n97uo
There's a function, GetXPBar. All you have to do is edit the coordinates of the box that contains the numbers (in this case, 187,956,371) in gametab.simba.

So I made a private divination script, this is how I checked to see if the inventory was full.
I used the quick-inventory slots A and B as the last two inventory slots, then created a DTM of the last slot. If the inventory was full, then the DTM would not be found.

empty inventory: http://prntscr.com/1nnmu6
full inventory: http://prntscr.com/1nnncs

Great release Wu-Tang! I have legit trained this skill so far and its very painful … I cant wait to give this a run and provide some proggies! I think I saw the question before … were there any other default setting we should be using other than old-school set up? Pre RS3 we used simba on minimum settings but I would like to try this in the game client setting just not sure if I need to go minimum … I assume the different graphic settings could play havoc with the DTM's.

if u set to karamja it will click on wisps anywhere im at 60s and it would. but u gotta go in the script under find pale; switch the mouse_right too mouse_left to it clicks on them instead of right clicking but it doesnt detect full inventory so itll keep clicking them and will never go to rift

Ok so here's the deal with the inventory problem.
You need to do some work on your own in order to get this to work:
1. Get your inventory to be a 4x7 rather than 5 across
like this:

2. Then you want to open up your inventory.simba file in your includes (which I explained in OP)
now set up your desktop like so (but have SMART up higher, mine is lower for privacy reasons:
3. Drag the crosshairs from Simba to SMART. This is what the crosshairs look like:
4. Put your mouse on the SMART client and read the numbers on the bottom left of Simba, then put your mouse a few pixels away from the SMART client. If you get negative numbers when you put your mouse away from the client you are doing it right, otherwise try retargetting SMART.
5. Put your mouse on the top left edge of the first inventory slot and read the number on the bottom left of Simba. MEMORIZE THEM. Place these numbers in the first to spots in the parentheses of Line 150
Slot1 := IntToBox(611, 297, 645,328);

6. Now check to see that you still have the client targeted (if not then retarget) and place your mouse on the bottom right edge of the first inventory slot. MEMORIZE the numbers on the bottom left of Simba. Put these numbers in the last 2 spots in the parentheses of line 150.
7. Do the same as you did in steps 5 and 6, but with the 6th inventory slot. You will need to retarget SMART for this if you didn't have to for step 6.
8. Save your inventory.simba file and run JDDiv. If you do not detect a full inv, then you should adjust your coords slightly (redo these steps).
9. If you require assistance in any further areas of this, please feel free to post or pm :)

This probably wont come as a huge surprise to anyone but there have been MASSIVE bans over at powerpot for their divination script (https://www.powerbot.org/community/topic/1081678-addictive-divination/page-47). I share this for 2 reasons -

1). They are manually banning so just make sure your babysitting your script.
2). It appears its not a script ban so much as a client ban … so if your using an "older" version of PB stop.

I havent read of any bans for SIMBA so it looks like were safe for now but if you read the PB thread its amazing how many completionist accounts/max accounts were banned either permanently or temp with a rollback so people with 21+ 99's come back with 7!

Just be careful … its a bit dangerous on RS at the moment.

Lots of people are having problems with this script. I am waiting until they release srl6 with the simba client, do you think this will aid in the development of your script so that it can be much more consistent? For instance srl6 might have an rs3 inventory library.

Found a bug just reviewing the diff, thought you'd like to know.

Line 328: I'm guessing you want this WriteLn inside the begin..end;

Also you use a lot of "if var = True then", which is redundant, "if var then" would work.

that is some major BS. You're LAZY. haha

Seriously, it isn't cryptic at all. It is also 100 times easier to troubleshoot, look at all that godda** debug it spits out. Who needs a tutorial when there is documentation on the API? I've made only one script that is released here. But you shouldn't be waiting on other scripters. Hit me up on here, skype or email if you'd like help. I can give you ideas or teach you how to script :P
