Hey guys I was cleaning my computer (taking off the dust) and everything was great so I kept using it a couple of day ago my computer starts making a beeping noise so I though It was the Ram's so I took them out and clean it up and noticed that my Cpu/and that cpu fan were really dirty so I then I took it of clean the dust and I took of the paste that it had I put new thermal paste on it and now I put everything back to how it was and when I turn in on my pc does turn on but my Monitor stays black
Does anyone know what's wrong?
I'm thinking it's the cmos battery I've never changed it (same one since I bought the computer)
What do you guys think it is?

Its hard to debug older motherboards without any onboard debugging.

we know its not your PSU. considering your getting beeps. did you install the CPU the right way around? did you plug in all the fans? does it boot loop? (repeatedly turn itself on / off). did you change the order of any of the PCI cards if so change it back to how it was? did you try removing the CMOS battery and replacing it after 30 seconds or so? have you made sure you've plugged everything in properly?

The first thing to do when troubleshooting is to check if you plugged everything in correctly. Check if the monitor attached properly/plugged in.
