When trying to bot in Old School rs I came upon a problem. Smart 8+ doesn't like working for me. I've followed the steps on multiple tutorials and still nothing. I know it's not a problem with smart it's just me being stupid in some way. It may be something with java since I've always had issues on this computer. When I try and start a script or just open smart I get "Smart Cannot Spawn Clients". I also don't know if this is an issue but the black debug box (I think that's what it is called) doesn't stay up when I open simba and when I start the script it comes up for a second and then disappears again. Considering the vast majority of the people here are smarter than me…care to point out what I'm doing wrong?

If you're using Smart8.2, it requires Java7 AND that you manually set your computer's environment PATH variable to the bin folder of your Java7.

Is this correct for the path?
H:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe

(ignore the H it's just how my computer is)

That path should not include "java.exe", but the rest of it is correct. Although the Smart_World error is odd….

I've changed the path…still no luck. I don't get the 8.2 error either. I've never seen that before.

Whoever it was that designed the include and didn't know how to get the "World" parameter automatically should read on:

This would automatically find the right world and load smart with the correct parameters. I really hope you guys aren't using the wrong ones or else enjoy the bans/slow loading.

Nope and I'm thinking about just not trying anymore since I'm going to be getting a new laptop in a month or two
