SRL Archive - Banned from RS

got banned on my main a few days ago right before RS3 came out. I was using scripts I wrote myself on Autohotkey. They were really good, could get exp at about 90% rate of max performance. I had random time functions in there, but they were the basic, Random between a specific time range or pixel color range, etc. no complex algorithms

friend gave me his old account, so I was checking out new sites. came across this site. Simba looks pretty enticing, though I do have a few questions, not sure if on the right thread or not.


Is Simba safe? it looks like Simba has its own client interface… isn't that detectable and dangerous? How many of you have gotten banned on Simba and what were you doing? What's the difference between Simba and SRL?

I've been using my own stuff on AHK, basic f2p skilling activities. I think I got banned from yew WC farming for 16 hrs a day. dumb of me I know, but I didn't really care, lol. byebye santa hats :(

Simba can use SMART which may be detectable, but you always have the option of using Simba directly with an official Runescape client or browser. If you did this then Simba would control your mouse unless you used a Virtual Machine and ran everything in that. Which is why almost everybody uses SMART.

A: Simba is as safe as the scripter makes the script.

Q: Simba has its own client interface… isn't that detectable and dangerous?
A: SMART could possibly be detectable. However using a different client insn't against T & C's (jagex made their own client and released the source)

Q: How many of you have been banned?
A: I got a temp ban once. The script messed up for hours due to walking issues and bad failsafes.

I started botting on runescape before villavu.com existed, before srl-forums(the previous domain for this site). Back then we used kaitnieks(sp?) and a program i loved called SCAR(which is still being updated). Now we have a great include SRL(SRL Resource Library) and an open source compiler SIMBA.

Head to the tut section and see if you can't learn a few things. Due to RS3 release our include is outdated until devs finish SRL-6 so hang tight.

Feel free to ask myself or anyone else that seems fairly friendly a question.
