Edgeville Mines - Triple 99s

I know this is asking for a lot, but I think this script would be amazing to have.

Having a fire/lava/mist staff equipped, a rune pick in inventory, a hammer, and as many nature runes as you can afford:

1. Mine iron ore in Edgeville Gnome Mines.

2. Superheat all the iron ores into iron bars.

3. Run to anvil in the mines.

4. Smith all the iron bars into stackable items (knives, bolt racks, arrow heads, darts, or nails).

5. Repeat.

This one script would train mining, magic, and smithing. Anybody up for a challenge? :fiery:

Wouldn't mind doing this, but what's the xp/h?

XP/hr and what is the gp loss?

This doesn't seem like it would yield that high of XP/hr

I can't promise anything fast at all but if I do write one I'll send it to you :) (Rogue's den and 99 thieving is my current goal though). I really like multiskill scripts, seems like it would also be a good script to avoid bannanation.

honestly dont bother writing this script before making a working anti-exploding rock.

that is part of an antirandom. Is it not working?

in the past this was a simple find colors and tpa solution… You're talking about the gas-rock that destroys your pickaxe, no?

yes thats what i'm talking about, and have yet to see a working finder, and i have tried all miners.

Pretty sure speedster's has support for it? We have reflection now anyway and we can detect it with 100% accuracy

were you in the SRL botting scene in 2007? I bet you the solver from then would work now, possibly needing a higher tol…

LOL i don't even have nearly the same computer as i did in 2007, or any old 2007 bots, also your wrong, jagex changed all/almost all colors…. i realize you can use if(FindColorTolerance(x, y, GASC, MSX1, MSY1, MSX2, MSY2, 3)) then
begin
movemouse(640, 76);
ClickMouse2(mouse_left);
writeln('Exploding rock! Waiting.');
wait(34500+random(1000));
end;
but it just doesnt work good at all.

Yea but the include from 2007 is around..also findcolertolerance would be terrible because it would set it off too much. you would have to add the smoke to the actual script, in the bounds of the TPA of each rock you would search for the gas.. baah hard to explain

I am not wrong good sir, ;)

I simple search for colors and using TPA's would be the same resolution used back then :)

yea the same resolution that isn't working, at least not 100%, and it hasn't worked even 70% for me.. The reaction time the script has just isn't fast enough.

well i know what you mean, but that one doesn't give me false positives ever in mining guild so it works for what i'm doing now, there's also the one your talking about in the script you told me about, but they usually don't react quick enough even if i remove the waits. false positives isn't a problem its just reaction time.

E: but i didn't realize reflection was working, i would like to code with that if i could, gonna go see if its above my knowledge level.

E2: inbetween this comment and now it failed me. :( i'm gonna try to get it to react quicker

I made a rudimentary gas finder using the colors that i've noticed using my miner

function FindExplodingGas : boolean;
var
cts : integer;
tpa : TPointArray;
begin
cts := GetToleranceSpeed;
SetColorToleranceSpeed(2);
SetToleranceSpeed2Modifiers(.02, .15);
result := FindColorsTolerance(tpa, 8821665, mmcx- 100, mmcy - 100, mmcx + 100, mmcy + 100, 25);
SetColorToleranceSpeed(cts);
SetToleranceSpeed2Modifiers(.2, .2);
end;

function HandleExplodingGas : boolean;
begin
result := true;
if not FindExplodingGas then
exit;
RunAway('n', false, 1, 15000 + random(5000)); //maybe make this random?
result := not FindBlackChatMessage('broken'); //I forget what the message says when your pick breaks
end;

I have yet to get the gas random since I made this, so I'm not entirely sure it will work(Although it should in principle).

edit: Sorry for offtopic, but it might be useful for anyone who cares :p

get me 10 screenshots from the highest angle facing different directions of the gas rock. Save as .png in paint and upload to imgur or something.
I still have screenies from 2007 but the colors might be slightly off so if you get me new pics I'll make you a flawless solver. I believe the gas lasts 30 seconds?

The simplest is to check for the "gas" in a small square around the player, if found walk away and wait 30 seconds. You don't even have to walk away, a simple click on the center of the MM to quit mining would suffice.

this will not help at all. You saved them as .jpg which compresses the image. I need .png which is lossless

save them as .bmp or .png… Don't mess with the image at all.

So this script is being worked on? I have no idea what the xp/hr is, nor the gp loss. I just know that if you have enough money to cast 200k+ super heat, you're set for afking three 99s (enough ammo for 99 Ranged too!).
