There's a file called "Makefile" in the SMART8 directory, change the following line:
WIN_GPP=i686-pc-mingw32-g++
to
WIN_GPP=g++
This error is occurring because the Makefile can't find your compiler, which is not named i686-pc-mingw32-g++, unless you're cross compiling. You could also make a link to "i686-pc-mingw32-g++", which I did so I would not lose my changes every time they update.
You can make a link to your compiler like this:
First type
which g++
This will give you the location of g++
For me this is in /usr/bin/g++, so adapt the following code to whatever your "which g++" gave you:
ln -s /usr/bin/g++ /usr/bin/i686-pc-mingw32-g++
The first option gives you code right now, and the second option allows you to easily continue to pull from the SMART8 repo (which you may or may not need).
