My friend decided to get into programming recently and wanted to try scripting with simba…

I gave him an exact copy of my simba folder so he would be able to start with RS3 nice and easy with my API.

I have copied this folder to a couple other of my computer with zero issues, but on his computer he has a black bar on the right and bottom parts of SMART which block off part of the game. You can still interact with the game behind these black areas, but you just can't see it. You could code with this issue, however it is really an eyesore..

He has tried different versions of Java, checking to see if other programs were interfering somehow, and many other general troubleshooting things. He even tried putting my build up on his crappy, very old laptop and it worked perfectly fine there.

He finally just reformatted and yet the black bar (it's sometimes white too) is still there, on a completely fresh Windows install! Very very strange.

Any ideas?

The window is already re-sized, but I'll have him try changing it just to see what happens, although I am sure the black/white bar covering the game will remain.

He is afk currently but we'll give it a shot soon. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
