Is SMART A Detectable 3rd Party Client?

As I make a switch from Powerbot to Simba I'm curious on how my last problem with Powerbot stands with Simba. So when I used PB I've gotten banned for using a 3rd party client. Is SMART detectable as a 3rd party client? Or should there be no issues with that?

Not exactly, it seems it is detectable, but they are not currently using the detection code anywhere, there is speculation as to why they're not using it, and one theory is they would be violating international law.

So, the answer is kind of yes, but no-one cares because they currently don't do the detection.

Anything 3rd party is detectable. But among all client-loaders SMART fits in with the simply loaders you see with tools like highscores lookup, world switching, guides, and so forth… It poses no more of a threat than that simply because it does not modify the client, to my understanding.

A couple problems I can see with it is that first, it's 3rd part, as with everything else. Another is it hacks the canvas and creates its own virtual mouse & keyboard, allowing us to, if we want, run a script via SMART while it's minimized, so the user can still use their own mouse and keyboard.

If you're worried about getting banned using it let me point out how it might work. SMART; by itself breaks the "3rd party programs" rule, or something along those lines. Simba; only a ban-able cause if used to macro on Runescape. Runescape-directed script; truly macroing/automating on Runescape, this can get you banned, depending heavily on many factors.

So to answer your question, you have no more of a chance of getting banned with SMART than you would with, let's say, Swiftswitch.

ooh is that the reason why all those people from pb are here..

if you want to be more safe you can also use your own mouse (not smart)
