I opened Runescape up in Chrome, and set the graphic setting required to run a script, but when SMART8 opens, the graphic settings are changed. Also, when I re-open Runescape in Chrome, the graphic settings are reset as well.
Thank you for any help.

if I'm not mistaken, this is due to your browser loading the HTML5 client, and then your SMART loading the java client.

Is there a way to fix this? Or how would I go about opening it in the Java client in Chrome?

I'm about to head back to my computer at home, I'll take a look and see if I can find something for you :)

Alright, apparently it's NOT loading the HTML5 by default yet, and it's still using a java client for the main site. I honestly have no idea what could be causing SMART and the website to be using different settings. The only thing that I can think, is the browser is passing your screen resolution, and the SMART window is passing 800x600, causing the game to be confused.
Sorry I wasn't more help!

This is due to the fact that SMART loads the java client in safe mode by pressing/holding 's' while loading. You dont normally do this in your browser, so the browser defaults to openGL and makes you 'detect best settings' again.
To add to what Turp said, if you want your setting to not change when using a browser, hold down the 's' key while it loads in the browser.

Okay, So I got the settings to save by clicking S thanks! But now, when SMART opens, I click S, it loads the settings, but nothing happens.. It just staying on the login screen, and the scripts that I've tried don't login for me. (I thought the reasoning for that was my graphic settings) I'm not getting ANY errors, it just doesn't log in.

Log in manually and start the script.

That doesn't work..
I read through the FAQ's, and can't find something that says my script runs, but doesn't do anything, and doesn't give an errors…..

Its not running because RSREADY is broken. so the script and everything doesnt start until RSREADY returns true.
Youre not understanding what we are saying with the 's' key. the 's' key is for SAFE MODE, not save.

Okay, so do scripts run in SAFE MODE? And if thats not the case, is that why RSREADY is broken? What mode should I run in? Or how do I fix RSREADY if it doesn't matter what mode I run in?

I followed the guide (
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104919), and took his include, It logins now! But the script I'm using (Jeffrey's Chicken Killer v2.04) doesn't seem to recognize anything, and its just searches randomly for stuff and doesn't kill.. So I'ma try a different script.
