Why do they deserve this cup or promotion?
He's quite active for someone who's been here so long and he makes a good effort to help people and to keep the forums civil. His posts are sensible and I think he'd be a good judge of handing out infractions where necessary. He appears to have a strong interest in keeping the forums a friendly place.

Some recent examples that stood out to me:

He also appears to have a good understanding of the rules, and he is kind when reminding people of them:

Overall he just strikes me as a great community member and I think he'd do a fine job as an SSRL if he wanted to be one :)
No, he is fine where he is.
