SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

Er….. Hullo?

Just wanting to say I might be more active here in a few days(summer hehe) to learn how SCAR & SRL works and all. No, I'm not a spy to rip some code if that's what some of you are thinking. -_-;

I don't really personally like Pascal too much, but it's simple and eh - I think there's quite a lot of tutorials here for me to learn from.


I don't plan on using SCAR for RuneScape, but just to learn some cool little skills I can get it to do such as simple computer chores and etc. Boreas explained a lot of that to me so hehe…

However, if I have time during the summer - I may feel like taking a break from java and mess with SCAR for RuneScape and whip out a script for you all, now how does that sound? :)

It's what I intend on doing. I already told you that a few weeks ago, but I never had time to. Now it's the summer, and I'm all ready to bury myself in your…uh… Tut Island? Lol

Thanks all good members who posted tutorials. I think I can learn this in a few weeks and then read the SRL Manual. I'm thinking the SRL Manual is like a javadoc, yes?

Aww… I don't agree with the community's idea to respect Jagex and all. Personally, I think 90% of them are eh… not the professional "company" you'd expect them to be. I've heard reports on how they *shanked* Dylock out of a lifetime's membership, and always banning legitimate players' lifetime's work on a character, etc.

I dunno this is my opinion, and I just wanted to say it lol? I hope there's free speech in this community.

fourthly here's my ideas:
I highly doubt they're always banning legit players. Probably stories told by someone who was stupid enough to auto on their main or do something stupid. Also if they spent a lifetime's work on a character than they need to get a life :P
While I think that some of the decisions Jagex make are stupid, they wouldn't go around banning people who support them and play legitly.
So I do respect Jagex as annoying as they can be at times. Because without them I'd have no SCAR/never even thought of programming. there's my 2 cents. btw don't take this as offence in anyway just me and my opinion. :D

Without jagex, there would be no SRL, not iBot, no ARGA. We respect them, because without them we wouldn't all be here as a community together. So they make some mistakes sometimes… everyone does; no one is perfect.

There is free speech in the community, but there are limits to it. Also, remember to always follow our rules.

Ey welcome! Looks like we're going to have a little exchange program, because I plan to go start learning ibot pretty soon.

Pascal is nice and easy compared to all the nasty classes/objects and "benefits" of java. Have fun.

Lol I was a noob a long time ago. I don't play RuneScape that much, just started a legit character, but I like scripting for IBot and was getting to ARGA till' MS took it down for system X, so I'm just waiting for javadocs to be released for ARGA, waiting for NeXuS 14, and building some stuff for assSoft.

I personally like java more than pascal, but eh… I'd like to learn pascal and use SCAR for some random, useless stuff.


Oh and yes, omgh4xors, I would love to teach you java for pascal. It'd make some stuff much easier lol.
