If you liked the first show (the last airbender) I think you will like this, its not the same in any respect but they build characters up in a very similar way and overall provides a good vibe you just have to be fine with knowing it is not about your favorite characters from the prequel.

July 19th 2013 is when the video came out from nick themselves.
They say the show will return in September.

I really hope they continue this show, it struggled at first because people were so turned off to a new avatar but I mean.. that was the entire premise of avatar people need to get over it :p

And yeah, I just didn't like the ending to the last season. It ended to many problems that could have been better answered or more interesting/fitting for the second season. Other than that, I like TLK. It's no original Avatar, but still good enough to keep you interested.

Lol well that is how a new avatar comes into play :p You do get to see him/the gang as adults which is kinda cool.

Yep exactly! I think it has a lot of potential and its up to the writers to take it and use it!

yea really, it is about time, I loved Avatar: The Last Airbender and Korra S1. Can't wait for S2

I think people were turned off by how HORRIBLE the 1st Avatar movie was … its hard to rebound from something that bad. Reminds me of Battlefield Earth in epic fail-ness.

I still need to finish the series though which I really enjoyed and will pick up Korra as well!
