What exactly does this do/mean?

Stumbled across this for a few functions (most specifically FindChatBoxText). Just would love some clarification for what Pos/PosEx even do/mean.

Pos = Position or something else?

yes, pos() will tell you the position the string is within the string if its not it will return 0.
