SMART's ip?

Does SMART run from it's own ip? Or even just untraceable? I'm not one of those computer-savvy people, but it's pretty obvious that since the server pings never show up, that something's not connecting to SMART properly. I wanted to know because that would mean it's safe to double-log (or at least I presume so), and I could play around on a second account whilst my other is leveling… Double cheating lol Hate me for it

No, it runs from your ip - whatever computer is running SMART is the ip that SMART will have. As for untraceability - it emulates a firefox browser for the most part - HOWEVER, it would be detectable on a deeper inspection (a deeper inspection that Jagex seems incapable of as pbot would go down long before us :p).

As for double-logging, that's easily capable with or without smart - if you are aiming for the same world on one computer, however, you will need to log into both accounts as simultaneously as possible.

Oh, thanks dude. Yeah I thought they just checked for if there were 2 or more instances of the same ip logged in. That's good to hear, probably going to be doing that a lot now haha

Nope, they don't care how many instances of an IP is logged in - it's perfectly fine to have 10-20+ bots all running from one ip and they don't really flag you any higher than any other situation. At the moment, it's activity based only.

If you wish to login to the same world, just edit your random.dat file to read-only. I've had it like this for awhile and it's handy if you run multiple scripts so you don't get the same world error often.

Has anyone ever ran 10-20 bots from the same IP for a couple of days just to see if they did any IP based detection?

Actually curious, I realize this is semi-necro posting

My buddy and I ran 11 or 12 bots at once, only 2 diff IPs, and we did 24 hr botting, and after a little less than 2 days, 7 of the accounts got 2 week bans, then we continued to run, and his main, and my pure got perm'd.
