SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

Today I've found 2 maxed account with phats ON them botting Yews in F2P. And the other day I saw a close to maxed account with a Santa doing the same.
Why are people risking goldfarming yews on accounts like these?! This makes me crazy!!!! :pinch: It's weird that I've seen all of these so close together..

Has anyone else seen anything like this? Am I the only one that thinks this in insane? :D

Probably would work better than our runite bot hunting. Lol :p

My guess would be that due to recent events they're trying to bot under the radar in F2P, although it would make more sense if they left their wealth in the bank. There's no faster way to get attention in F2P than wearing a rare, except possibly giving some of the noobs a few K :D

Seen tinkinaboutu before back around January

Botted cooking at world 16 GE while I was going for 200m cook xp.
Met him sometimes at slayer; he had pernix and thought range was the best way to kill abyssal demons, LOL.
Its a guy by the way, that owns that account.

His name has been around some botting forums. That partyhat is borrowed as well as he usually posted on the item RSOF's to borrow rares.

Players like him grew tired of the game.
His membership ran out on February of this year.

He's probably just botting yews on f2p for the hell of it, and trying to get the account banned.

You realize that
1) their not gold farming
2) they will keep the party hat, you keep your most valued items based off of the grand exchange now (actually its been like that for a while)

What? If they get caught, they'll most likely be permed(lol f2p) and your rares go on sale on the G.E. for mid price(lucky to whoever leaves bids in for phat's on ge, insta profit).

Where would he bank it then? He is far away of a bank.

There's so many ways to get to any bank in Runescape. He could tele to Draynor/Fally and run back or use the Port Sarim lodestone right there. He could tele to any bank and use the Explorers Ring to cabbage-port right next that spot, etc. :p

Edit: I just read in another thread that there's even a deposit box south of Port Sarim right there. I didn't know about that one

Yea but nobody would gold farm in a partyhat, its counter productive, not even to avoid getting the account reported, just not worth it.

Really? Back when I legitted as a f2p noobie I ran to falador or lumbridge :D So much has changed since then. Everything is 10 times easier now. Sorry for not knowing 10 banks 10 steps away :p

I think we should stop goldfarming on yews on that account we both share and go somewhere else for now. We will be back as soon as SRL ppl think we left. ;)
