Theres always been the odd one or two 'cannot spawn client' message, often times if i tried starting a script within 10-30 seconds of opening simba, However the last 3 days, i've noticed every time my RS times out at 6 hours and smart needs to be closed and reopened, it comes up with 'cannot spawn clients' and now much more regularly upon trying to start scripts, e.g it just happened 3 times in a row trying to start one (which i know is a working script). oh also, the client still actually loads too, i didn't try logging in but it seemed alright.

More or less i just thought i'd check if anyone else has been having this issue recently or would happen to know a fix?

I've changed java's two or three times, im now using a 32 bit java 6, not 100% sure which one, just grabbed the first windows one that stated 32 bit, however yesterday i tried 6 45 (didnt say anything about 32 bit) with no help, and before that it was most likely the most recent java 7, possibly the one before that.. Haven't really had this problem at all until 3-4 days ago or something, and I didn't change anything drastic or anything, so i'm sort of stumped.. :/

oh also, i looked at several other threads, mainly recent ones, to see if i could find any help, but the most of what i foudn was to get the 32 bit java and such, a lot of what i saw didn't seem related.. however i still feel like a bit of a prick for starting a thread on a topic i know has been posted about many of many times, just i couldn't really find anything to help me, so i do apologise for that :/

I've begun having this issue too. Am running Java 7 on windows. Have not noticed any pattern to what is happening, though I am loading and unloading Simba often while I'm testing a script. :shrug: IDK.

hmm there we go, i wasn't sure if i'd be the only one or not :p see i'm not even loading and onloading regularly, i'm just starting a script when i get up more or less, and restarting any time they fail or i need to do something, so I don't think that you regularly starting and stopping would be the cause.. (although as i stated, i did notice if i opened simba and tried to start a script straight away it would fail, the same seems to happen if i stop and start one instantly)

yeh happans to me a lot to .. dosent realy cause me much of a problem though

It becomes a bit of a pain for me at 6 hour log outs, 9/10 times (as of a week or two ago) it cannot spawn the client upon reloading for the 6 hour fix, i wake up and realise my scripts been off for a few hours, yadayadayada, i guess its just inefficient and it kinda bugs me, not that its a big deal its better then nothing, just id like to be able to put a script on of a night, go to bed, get up, do some crap for a few hours and come back knowing its still running, can't understand how i never had the issue before now all of a sudden its a common problem O.o fml lol

Try running it as Administrator it should work, I had the same problem.

Execute Simba as Admin.

hmm i'll suss this out.. i thought of this before and may or may not have tried it, can't recall exactly but i'll post progress, cheers! :)

Edit: still no good >.< also the client it says it cannot spawn can actually sign in and everything O.o dunno what the go is..

Check your firewall or upgrade to Smart 8.0 Ditch 7.2 because no one even uses that..

I already had smart 8.0 :/ and I'm pretty sure I checked my firewall, for the record it stopped happening now though (except for rare occasions)

Also, while we're here.. did anyone else happen to cop a ban for 'bot busting' over the last 1-3 days?

Happening to me too; using jre7 under wine. Any ideas?
