What has happened to this community? It seems like no scripts are being supported/updated. No new scripts being made. Does anyone know the reason for why its so dead.

Could be that interest for 07 has died down a bit.

Because runescape is dying?

Well first of all Like King said: Runescape is dying.
Second, the available scripts do get updated but they would be better if we had all the randoms working.

its exam time/ near holiday time. rs activity always drops around this time and so doest script making i think.

You could try to put in some scripts of your own or learn the basics so you can fix up those outdated scripts…
and become a member of the commmunity….. There are more scripts in the member section for people that give back to the community.

But ya, Lots of working scripts around…… I could name 10 off the top of my head!

Honestly i've legitimately thought about doing so. I had always wondered how difficult it was to step foot into basic scripting. If i were to learn scripting for runescape 07 would it be beneficial for me in any way outside of gaming? Also how much effort/time would it consume to fix up/write a decent script like woodcutting.

It really depends on the type of person….
If you have a mind for solving problems, a good typing speed and are able to learn and hold lots of information… it really doesn't take that long..

It's really not that hard.. If you want to learn.

Well.. It could benefit you if you plan to take a career in programming or any related fields. This is a scripting language.. Same as C++, html, java, all that stuff…. Learning one will help you understand others easier.

The amount of time to make a good script all comes down to how good you are at scripting.
But you can make something basic in a few hours. (Chopping and logging out when load full)
Adding stuff like banking and making it repeat over n over again is a little bit more challenging.. but yeah.. The learning curve is really really flat.

People moved on to other 07 bots and a lot of people are not playing 07 anymore

Interest in 07 went down, personally i've been using tribot simply because it supports random events, work on random events in simba is over. flight isnt going to port reflection into simba and actually no one else will. Personally i tried to work on the solvers and i can see why the team gave up on the idea, you need more than color for some of the randoms.

For years i've used scar/simba when there was no other good bots around, every time a good free bot showed up i would switch to it, alot of people do that. Either way i learned alot of pascal by using simba, am able to write quick scripts for my self for pretty much any activity on rs.

oh p.s the good scripters never even posted 07 scripts and they never will, meh i love this community what a shame.

Well I just made one and will be releasing another soon enough
EDIT: EOC, not 07

Unfortunate, because we have perfectly good plugins to solve almost all of the random events, but no one can compile them nor know how they work well enough to utilize them in our current random-solvers. It's like having a time machine without the owners manual.

Flight cannot as Flight does not have enough knowledge to finish off adding reflection to a revision of SMART. No, you don't need more than color; I'm sorry but that statement is absolutely false. Did you know back in that time we had plugins that handled all random events, including the maze? All one needs is a clever combination of color and math and we can make Simba see what we see, and act upon that.

No, that's the behavior of a push-to-play botter. You rely on what other people provide, and if it doesn't work, you give up. Many people who silent for some time have a good reason for it, and it's not to desperately search around for other people's bots to use for Runescape…

Perhaps, but then again, Jr. Members don't see much of the forum.

@Flight you don't need to break down my post into several.. Don't get me wrong am not trying to be mean here, guess am just somewhat pessimistic; mostly upset because i cant get something done with a script i've been trying to write for several weeks.. I understand you don't have the knowledge to port reflection i used you as an example because your the most enthusiastic/skilled (at least to our public eye) scripter that is still actively perusing/supporting 07scape macroing with Simba…

Now i wouldn't know anything about srl members since i don't qualify for such class, but its quite obvious that there are great scripts for srl members, thats one of the perks being an srl member - you get access to great content you can learn a lot from :).

But lets not deny the fact that interest in 07scape has been dwindling and will continue to do so, that's not the fault of bots/botters, thats well, the game it gets boring after a while. Other than pking/botting at ankous i really don't play this game.

Thats just my opinion/experience, everyone has a different opinion.. About randoms looking at the solvers yes they do use color but java makes it easier, i'd be lying if i said i understood how the solvers are written, they need a super -beyond advanced guide on the forums to explain how they work and how can one get by and write his own solver..

Tbh sucks that you just cant mass click and contentiously fail a random to get rid of it, jagex keeps you stuck there for ever.

I think its because there is other free botting sites for 07
