Hey, I haven't been playing RS much lately, and I was thinking of selling my account.

• My account is almost fully maxed (halfway between 119 and 120 dung, which I'll probably spaz out on and get)
• has about 850mil on it (I probably will just sell the gold separately)
• 250+ quest points
• tokhaar-kal, max cape, fire cape
• basically all good dung rewards
• all livid farm spells (if those even matter anymore)
• around 500mil total xp
• almost all POP armour (x2 tetsu helms)(only need the lotus and sea-singer hoods)
• quite a bunch of sof stuff (limited time stuff, and some xp pendants)
• 15k loyalty points per month + 80-100k right now + a bunch of auras (the good ones) and loyalty shop emotes
• almost everything from the runespan
• about 500 of each charm
• and it has a good name.

I was thinking about $180-190 for the gold. Do you think I can get at least $300 for the account (without the gold) if I get it to 120 dung?

Also, I was wondering (since I'll be selling through PayPal probably) what the best way to do it would be, so I would have a enough proof of legitimately selling the account in case the buyer tries to chargeback the payment.

Well thats a good account you got there bro, Idk about price offer but maybe does this sound good to avoid paypal chargeback: Send as gift and make them write "I am paying for items which I have already received and I am happy with their condition. I have no reason to charge back this transaction."

One thing about the gift method though. This is from King's PayPal guide:

This is a big issue when dealing with charge-backs, you send as a gift, easily charged back, send as a payment, its harder. Most people think the contrary, however sending the payment as a gift will not help you in any way and actually will only hinder you. This is because the person has ump-tine reasons to charge-back a gift, maybe they don't like you anymore ect. With money sent as payment for goods/service, it narrows the list down to having to deal with the good or service: not working properly, didn't receive, defective ect…

So, with fewer choices for a charge-back reason, fewer ways to have to cover!

You want the money sent as for goods or services with a note saying "Item has been received, it is intangible, this is my skype:BlahBlahBlah". Item received is obvious I think, It being intangible means Paypal does not cover it, Skype name is so if you need to send PayPal a conversation you had with the buyer (has saved me a few times).

None of this will guarantee 100% that PayPal will side with you, but it has never failed me.

makes me wonder if sending as an actual payment is actually better.



PS: What site is it again that gives RS account estimates?

Well it used to be Gold4Fun but they moved to www.playkiller.com
An actual payment for goods/services is better now that u mention it, and even more with the note I gave you^^.

Dont accept PayPal for that large of an amount unless you really trust the buyer. I would go the moneypack route, on top of that, I would say sell the gold separate (like .26/M) and sell the account for 300$-400$ (I believe this is what max accounts are going for elsewhere).

Naa don't play EOC but I would hate to see somebody get scammed $400 or more from scythe..

I can't find a place on either of those sites to do it.

Don't take an auction appraisal from either of those sites, they will scam you to try and get it to sell fast at a lowball/: Try virtualgrotto.com/sythe (:

NEVER do paypal as a gift, gift payments have NO seller protection. Take the fee's of normal payment, gives seller protection.

Playerauctions is pretty much 95% scam proof. Thats why you have 10% fee's , Personally have sold over $500 in gold this week through them, flawlessly, great service for un-trusted people.

I don't have a use for the account, and i don't wanna throw you a low ball offer, so i will pass on that.

But If you want, i might be intrested in the gold, I would buy it at a fair price(not top of market since i have to re-sell), But going through me would be 100% safe and you wouldnt have to worry about getting scammed :)

Feel free to message me your skype if you decide you need to get rid of the gold/cant sell for higher somewhere else ( I could probably give you .20-.22, depends on market at the time)

Yeah.. I got scammed by player auctions a few years ago.. They changed my pass n shiz…. I'd even left the account free of recovery qs and stuff cos i wanted to sell it easy.

So, if I would make a new account on there, would I be able to sell as easily as an older account?

And I already have a buyer for the gold :).

I'm just curious, sorry for spamming up this thread, but do people actually buy these accounts? Mine is 2495 total, nearly 2496 and I am thinking of selling it. So, do people really buy Max/Comp accounts on RS for this much money (300-400).

I'm wondering that as well :p. I hope people do. I think that people might buy them for either:

a). Hardcore goldfarmer looking to use maxed account for the latest and greatest money-making methods only available to high-level players.
b). Someone who has a lot of money to spare and doesn't want to spend hundreds/thousands on hours wanting to grind through levels.
c). Someone who wants a head start for the 2 new skills coming out this year.
d). Someone who thinks they can resell the account for a higher price.
e). A scammer who tries to scam you, but fails and gets stuck with the account. ;)

are the reasons I can think of the top of my head atm :)

EDIT: Is your last level dung as well? Hit me up if it is and maybe we can train together.
