I am fully aware that paying for simba scripts is not allowed, but I can't find any answer regarding the exchange of scripts between users. Can I exchange my law runecrafter/abyss runner for a barrows bot or my chocolate bar bot for a woodcutter? (Just examples, I already have most of these scripts)

If two scripters choose to privately exchange scripts, I don't see why that would be against the rules - speaking as not a moderator nor an admin.

I would view this as the private distribution of a private script and as long as no real world value was traded for the script then there would be no real issue, but like Kevin said, I'm not a mod or an admin. Perhaps @Brandon could tell you more definitively.

I swap scripts with people? I really dont see an issue so long as you dont make threads about it..

Yes you are allowed to trade scripts though as long as it is your script being traded with their script.


For example, I cannot trade you any of Flight's scripts because they are NOT mine to trade. Someone doing this has no authority over his scripts. If the scripts are in a higher forum that you can view, then it is called leaking unless it is their script.


So.. Trading a SRL-Member for one of Ashaman's script would be leaking because that member doesn't own his scripts and you can't view them outside the members/seniors forum. However, if that member is trading you his/her own scripts then I see nothing wrong with it and it breaks none of the rules.. After all, it is their and he/she can post it anywhere or do whatever he/she wants with it.


Do note though that doing this sort of thing MIGHT be something admins have no control over.. Unless you record proof that you got scammed as there would be no threads or anything in the blackmarket. So you are responsible for making sure you get what you asked for. If not, then you're going to need your own proof of trade (NOT purchase) as well.

I'm sure there is a place on Sythe to sell/buy bots.
