Random Question for scripters

Can someone please explain this because I'm dying to know.
Everyone who knows bots knows of the NX series, prob the best bot of all time. I already know they shut down the website and you cant get the bot anymore. But wasn't the bot based off of code just simba?
Couldn't someone just copy&paste the NX series code into Simba and run it? Sure its leaching but the bots they had, banked, have perfect random scripts. I'm just wondering if that is possible because I miss not being able to leave my bot for 3 hours and see it still killing things and banking the loot.

Never heard of NX..

But.. I'm sure it wouldn't be as simple as that.

but it was based off of code.
I half way decent at building websites with notpad++, its basically the same thing for Dreamweaver.
Couldn't a scripter fix the code and adjust it to work with Simba?

By nx you mean nexus right.. First of all Simba currently uses color, nexus used reflection. Second off, nexus was in java, Simba pascal script. It would be a complete rewrite. Pascal script and java are way different, java is object oriented, pascal script is not.

Lets say we could though… Oh yea nexus scripts were closed source.

Pretty sure it's almost completely different. Like sure you could remake the script manually but you'd have to rewrite pretty much everything

what bot are you trying to copy exactly?
You will probably find something just as good here, in simba format.

No it wasn't. Nexus/iBot was built off Java and used a Java-based scripting engine (we use Pascal) - completely different languages, one which can only compile in their respective engines.

Even though Simba and Nexus/iBot both support(ed) colour, that does not mean they are the same/based off the same code.

I can also write a Simba script in Notepad/Notepad++. Just as I would be able too write a Nexus/iBot script in those two utilities too. They are both text editors. Simba can't run/display HTML, neither could iBot.

Sorry to post off topic but iBot supported color for One of their botting methods?

Yes…

It was originally a colour bot.
