The C:\Windows…Java.exe window that comes up along side SMART v8, is there a way to hide this?

Try using trayit! Application, it hides it inside the system tray, if you decide to install it then make sure you click no for all the extra add ons

Go to: https://github.com/BenLand100/SMART/blob/master/src/SmartRemote.cpp

You see how it shows "java.exe" at line 306? Change it to "javaw.exe" and recompile Smart or get someone to do it for you.

Enjoy.
