So I've been saying that I would do this for a long time. But I'm getting to it now. I see a problem though: the .so and .dll files are renamed, so the old ones will stay in place, making the plugins one big mess. I'm going to talk to BenLand100 and see if I can just safely rename them so we override the old files. If not, it'll be a mess. But I will upload it regardless.
Sweet, when do you think OSR will be added to it though?
Also @OSR devs we need to do something about smart params.. smart .simba stuff needs to be put in OSR would literately get rid of 95% of the help threads "unable to find osr" and "invalid number of parameters"

But seriously, wouldn't be a bad idea to do it at the same time as the plugins. That way the users can get everything updated at the same time.

Thats what i thought, Brandons smart almost done, and now we adding the old smart? Guess its better then having the old old smart atleast :L

This (I don't think Ben would be fond of my updates to it) and yes they are all fixed. I just held off on the update because I'm trying to figure out if that FPS crap is due to my changes or happening in the Old smart or just something in RS.

Also, I'm also going to reboot the (old) server at some point, so updates may not work for an hour or so. Shouldn't be a big deal.

As for the SMART(s) we COULD just include BOTH with the Simba updater, and maybe have a const which allows scripters/users to pick which version of SMART they want to use.

I think he added it, I randomly ran a osr script and smart opened up without smart param issues without me updating it for 07

You can rename the appropriate smartremote*.* to whatever Simba wants it to be, but the smartjni*.* needs to be the same (used by java for native interface. you should include both 32 and 64 .dll because some people might have 32/64 java, and it depends on your java (the one on path) version; smart now invokes `java.exe -jar plugins/smart.jar` to launch java instead of nasty hacks), as does smart.jar.

Ben, my real question was: can we rename them to the old names thus avoiding conflicts with different versions of SMART? If that means editing the Java code to load a different file, I would see that as a better solution.

I answered that, I thought. "You can rename the appropriate smartremote*.* to whatever Simba wants it to be [in order to overwrite the old stuff], but the smartjni*.* needs to be the same [because a) it's not in older smarts anyway and b) the java side expects that particular name]" also you need smart.jar now.
