I dont know if this random event is known but i have never seen it in the 7 years i played rs.

So what happens: after a long time of fighting, there will something happen to the npc you are fighting with. (got this with ghouls, yaks and deadly red spiders so far) i dont know exactly what happens but if i babysit my bot i find myself sometimes at that big mountain next to catherby. There is a chatbox: deadly red spider: why didnt you help me? The only option you can click is: click here to continue. If you click that nothing will happen. Also: all your items will be noted if you got teleported away.

Never heard of it, I guess they are cracking down

yeah ive had that … i cant remember what it was but i saw the bot miss a random (didnt speak to the npc) and then got teleported :/

i *think* it was just one of the ones you have to talk to … one that is supported i think … but i cant really remember

your right! :P happened to me a couple of times.

I believe this is what happens when you don't talk to a Talking random event, (Miles\Giles ect)

Do you get a interface with a deadly red spider saying why it didnt help him with miles/giles?

i didnt get the red spider (i dont think), but i definitely had a "why didnt you help me?"

I believe it's a glitch where it uses the closest NPC's head for the interface image

That would mean that deadly red spiders have a preset chat face… I don't think they do since they don't have any dialogue and if there is one in a quest, they wouldn't be associated with regular respawning NPCs.

It's all in the cache. I've seen it happen to me.

Oh you dont see the chat face its just blank.

Ahh gotcha, anyway thanks for clearing this up

I believe this is how I lost like 7M (lost all items, no 3 items protected). It makes your ring of life noted too… And that mountain is full of aggressive wolves.

That's actually quite devious. I guess it notes everything as punishment because giles is a noter?

maybe jagex throwing in new randoms to track down botters :D

Why are they putting all this work into banning 07 bots….
I've never seen so much effort against bots in EOC..

The only thing i can think is that the 07 bots have to be members.. so banning them, might make the bots create new accounts.. so more money for jagax..
