So, I have been here for a while and have actually looked for the answer but never found it.

My questions is why is the URL villavu.com?

Its a question that has been lurking inside of my mind and I have been kinda scared to ask it. :P

I posted it as a thread in-case there is more than one meaning.. :D

IIRC: before villavu, it was srl-forums . then the contract expired on that website (wizzup/wt-fakawi missed the date to re-buy the url). villavu was wizzup's personal webpage, and upon not being able to get back srl-forums, decided to just migrate everything over here.

just fyi, its been a very long time since i heard anything about this, so it might not be 100% accurate.

yes it was srl-forums I was a member back then, just figured they switched for who knows why, lol


villavu isn't a real word as far as I can tell, in multiple languages.. unfortunately I don't know them all though

it was srl-forums for a while before 2007 when I joined, it turned to villavu maybe middle of 08? I was pretty inactive around that time, so not 100% on that

he's had villavu for longer than that, though, so I'm sure wizzup has had it for a loong time

I remember this being posted elsewhere on the forums and is probably the most accurate description.

Happy I stumbled on this thread actually never knew what Villavu meant I always wondered why it wasn't called Simba.com lol

Yes, villavu is the name of Fakawi/Wizzup's cottage.

And we didn't loose the srl-forums url. When Fakawai and Wizzup took the server back from Dankness we "returned home" basically. There's a thread with the hole backstory and everything. Ill try to find it.

Also, I am not Dutch.
