That explains it, But pretty much everyone showed up to powerwars event. J-mods instant killed them, then they died, lost all there money+ items on them and most got a 350hr ban.

Pretty funny if you ask me :P

I heard Skiller was behind it, Don't know for sure though, just got Online and saw this happened lol.

Also jagex did a update and caused 75% of PB scripts to break and need a full re-write, alot of scriptwriters are raging haha. GG PB

^ thats what jagex did, removed a ton of information from the client side and encrypted it more. Making things like walking impossible using old methods

Right now I'm powermining and there's a bot that was been standing in the same place for about 7 or 8 hours. Hasn't moved or mined, but won't log out :p

The walking had nothing to do with Jagex messing around with powerbot scripts, Jagex just changed the code and Epicbot is having trouble banking/walking on 75% of their scripts..

Yeah, thats what i meant.

They also Screwed up for instanced areas, Like mini-games, frost dragon caves, Etc. Half PB API is broken now.

Well I'm sorry but let me change that, Epicbot just updated more and now around 5% of their scripts might still need a small update.

I for one could care less about what happens to Powerbot or anyone there, but it's a really cheap shot from Jagex to ban a bunch of people having a fun, harmless in-game community event. Is their detection system really that terrible that this is the only way they can accurately find & ban bots?

Nope. They actually turned off bot-watch :l It's still in development I think.

hunter has been great profit until recently, No one re-made a grenwall bot after rsbuddy was gone, Grenwall spikes went from 250gpea to 1900gpea. But like 3 people made a private one on pb and goldfarming it badly now. They are like 1100? last i checked.

Still like 2.5mil/hr tho

Only people who were logged in via PB's client were banned, or who were big name botters /Admins there.

I have seen no legit player banned there, nor have heard anyone complain. J-mods said they did some type of screening on there account about who to ban and who not too…weather they telling the truth? Who knows. But only people who deserved a ban got one. Seeing as a ton of people filmed it or switched to accounts they have never botted and did not get banned, jagex did do some kind of checking, wasn't just random ban hammering people

I think what j-mod did is just some advertisement about their anti-bot movement, but I really doubt it's effect on preventing gold farming. Since gold farming account won't show up in powerbot war.

Your correct, most show up on there mains (for god knows what reason). And alot of there Real Mains got banned. Which to even a goldfarmer, is worst then a mule getting banned.

Alot of them lost hundreds of mills to bills of cash + possible rollback(they will have to see when they log in after ban expires)

Sort of, I believe they are doing this to hurt the botters more. So instead of a throw away account getting banned, They have had the account they played there whole lives on banned. Worst punishment they are trying for.

sad to see fellow botters get fucked but its pretty funny lol, first time i saw the Power Wars thing on their site i immediately thought, why would bots want to public announce where they are going to gather then ACTUALLY gather there…like all they were doing is telling jagex HEY WERE OVER HERE COME BAN US IF U WANT :) idiots if u ask me..

I don't get skiller… A 24 year old living with his mother attempting to make a name for himself "busting bots". I'd have to find more proof but i'm pretty sure he is a confirmed botter as well. He may not anymore but i'm fairly certain he use to. I'll go try to find some evidence.

Am I the only one who likes Skiller? He makes great bot-killing videos and he's doing more to clean up the community than most Jmods.

Last week I was botting in soul wars. Came to check on the script and found a long log of Skiller talking in my public chat :p

Skiller does not bot :/ I wouldn't say he's trying to make a name for himself, he just enjoys what he does - making videos - many of which focus on bot busting

As for his personal life, what does him living with his family matter? He attends college, who cares if you're still living with family so long as you're being somewhat productive

It's no secret that he has a PB account. Many legitimate people do. He works closely with Jagex staff, he's not at risk of being banned lol

Mainly Runescape, It showed J-mods throwing instant kill darts at people who attended the powerbot in-game event. But it also showed a couple snapshots of Pb forums, so im assuming thats how they got the copyright on it.

either way, funny as hell lol

This absolutely crazy, I'm not against banning mass goldfarmers, but really go for their main accounts at an event in which bots are not even being used? ehh….just not quite my cup of tea.
