Trouble with 6hr reload with smart

I recently got a dedicated Server to run some Scripts on, and i have been having trouble with the 6hr Re-log on it. It seems to only work like 1/3 of the time.

The server has 100mbps Internet connection, so normally Smart loads pretty much instantly. But sometimes in the debug it will just say Like "loadingSmart on whatever world" Then after 3 mins it times out, and no smart client appears.

Also sometimes it will just totally fail to even try the 6hr logout and ill get the Smart6hrfix failed message.

I have never had this problem when i bot on my computer, only when on the server. Is there a certain Java version that runs best? and Could be causing this error, currently running smart8 and the latest java version on a 64 bit system.

Would Downgrading to a 32bit system make any difference? SImba/smart run better on 32 or 64? (centos6 server btw, running simba thro wine)

Any help would be much appreciated :) Cheers

Smart worked well for me on Debian wine 1.4, but I got troubles installing the proper version.
@NKN could help though, since he's experienced with it :)

Is your RAM/CPU maxed out?

Are you running Java 7?
Did you uninstall OpenJDK?

What wine version

1.4.1

I might just try un-installing everything and re-installing, idk why it doesn't make the 6hr re-log most the time :l

I Just looked at a couple guides to do it. I setup my server like 3 weeks ago so i don't remember step by step what i did.

But pretty much you have to install RPMForge Repo First, Since Wine isn't Originally supported by Centos.

Then you Just install wine Itself Doing "Yum install wine"

Searching through my bookmarks a couple Threads i still have bookmarked regarding wine are :

http://24x7servermanagement.com/blog/?p=524 (is a couple years old and for centos5, but this is the one i used if i remember correctly)

https://freevps.us/thread-3577.html

Dunno if thats helpful at all, but i remember it took me a while to figure out how to do it too :P

Hmm, I don't remember that problem :/ Only thing i can think of is since the guide is a couple years old, maybe its setup to install an older wine version? Idunno.. Im not amazing at Linux, Still learning since this is my first server and first time with Linux OS. Maybe check the Wine Website? i believe they always host the most recent stable release of Wine as the one they set for people to download.. Might be able to change the command to download a certain version of Wine
