try emailing jagex. if you have data from creation and membership you should be able to get it back.

Strange, the 'hacker' should've had access to your Email adress, if he was able to change ur pw ..

(so you could rule out Simba, as if it was in a script it would only get ur rs-pw)

Unless if your email adress pw is the same as your rs account (what wouldn't be all that smart)

But that's just a conspiracy theory.

A good old Keylogger would be an easier explanation..

Naa man i wouldent in a million years blame simba for one of my noob miner accounts getting jacked. The script i was using is crack overrides miner and i looked through the code and the script is in the clear,Case closed as it was just a nub acc :)

Ah, ok I was just quite suprised to be honest. I hear people getting hacked now and then (wich is understandable, with keyloggers & those dirty sites), but a passwordchange is pretty damn hard to do imo..

I lend an account to a buddy of mine (knew all details about it, payment history etc) I just didn't have the email adress what it was registered on, and I had been trying to change the pw (he didn't use it anymore) and yes, I had to ask him to change the pw, cos I just could not do it without that email adress verifying for the pw-change.

So imo it indeed is a strange situation.. Back in the day changing a pass was just type old, type new. But now Idk how they've done it mate.. :-/

Were you the original owner of the account? Years ago I made the mistake of accepting an account from a "friend" on rs because he was quitting, and a few months ago I went to log in (I'd been using regularly as a resource gatherer, had about 10m) and it didn't accept my password. The most likely explanation is that he just recovered it, Jagex will always side with the account creator (by IP)
