Suggestion for SMART

the 2 problems I have with smart currently (bearable but nevertheless can be quite bothersome at times) that you guys probably already know abut but I thought I'd at least address them now.

I believe these were still a problem with smart before the eoc update (nov 2k12)
Anyhoo,

1. Targetting a specific client.
Let's say I open up a thieving script and an agility script. They each load up their own smart and get botting. I go afk to lift/fuck women/etc and come back and oh no both of my bots have logged out. I turn both of the scripts off, disable smart, reset everything and enable smart and run the scripts again. Sometimes, this will result in The first script (let's say agility) to now pair up with the second smart client(the account doing thieving) and the second script pairing with the first client.

Now, this isn't a big deal when running only 2 scripts, but if you're running 3+ clients and they mix up you will have to close all the clients and bring them back up again to reset it. This can be annoying if 2 scripts mess up and you have to reset everything just to reset them. I think if you target a smart client it should set an affinity between that script and the smart client that doesn't break [unless ofc targeting something else)

2. Coming to the front.
Randomly, when a script clicks in the smart client, the client will then be brought to the top of the screen. i.e let's say i have 2 agility bots running and I'm trying to post on villavu forums, the clients will sometimes randomly keep popping up infront of the browser (i forget what this is called, coming to the top?) everytime the bot clicks somewhere, over and over for a little while and then go back to normal.

ik this thread could use some refinement, but i gtg right now and I'm hoping to get your thoughts first, cheers =]

1)That is annoying… But honestly that simply means they were unpaired as expected and the each connected to the first discovered unconnected and open SMART. That is legitimately expected behavior and there really isn't much to do about that. You could just close said SMARTs before hitting run?

2)Yeah, that's a SMART8 issue. It's a known bug, but it really doesn't negatively affect many people, or if it does, it's considerably rare (once every 6 hours) so it's considered a low priority issue.

1. would be very nice to be able to repair via targeting the client, is that feasible?
2. it's not very rare, it happens to me at least once a day :P I usually run 3 bots.

1.Client targetting happens upon initialization - And is freed upon script end. What you'd want is for the client free to never occur. However, for that to happen, a lot of other issues would come up as that would also prevent the client from being freed and closed once the 6hourfix would kick in. That would also destroy your ram over any longer run of any script, even with just one bot. It remains much simpler for you to simply manually close them if for some reason they failed to run tot heir 6hour mark OR just restart your scripts in the relevant order :p

2.It's rare considering it's only once per bot per 6 hours. Yea, you experience it locally on average once per 2 hours because you're multi-botting. However, that's low priority because most multi-botters run VMs or have separate botting computers for that and most everyone else bots on only one account at a time, or only when they're away from home.
You may not like it, but you're a fairly unique circumstance. And let's be honest… Even with 3 bots, you prolly started them all at the same time, so for the most part, the issue is still only hitting you once every 6 hours ;)

1. Put each scripts in different paths, folders.

2. Remove Java 7, use Java 6 33-35.

Edit: you could also try 4t Tray Minimizer Free/Pro. It hides programs to tray.

I'll mess around with your suggestion for 1. Much appreciated for that btw <3
I think im just gonna have to live with #2 , rather keep java updated because I'm a noob.

Btw, even when minimized the #2 issue would still, only now it wouldn't pop up but make whatever im doing not be the top thing. It's weird :P but basically let's say im playing rs with a bot in the background minimized, the client im playing legit on would no longer be top and i would have to click on it to type. ugh bit annoying to explain, not a big deal though just gonna live with it like a noob =] I'll post back with what happens with #1 though, again much love for the suggestion <3
