Good avatars or thumbnails

Anybody know of a good website or place in general to get really awesome avatars or thumbnails or any picture that would work beautifully as a avatar picture?

I've been looking for some unique ones that would be cool to use, but I want something that not a lot of people would use. I would make my own, but I am absolutely terrible with photoshop, paint, gimp, etc.

Any ideas?

In sony vegas pro you can also edit it for pictures. I made my aio fighter logo in it, its basic but i just rushed it in 5 minutes. You can try that its pretty easy.

Btw: you can make full functional scripts but you cant make a avatar? (no offence) haha

Adobe photoshop is always best, nice quality for clean crisp simple designs

I found this on Google before and thought it looked really awesome. If you could make an avatar out of it that'd be sweetness.
