I'm sure some people may be interested in this news. Paris has decided to step down as the leader of RSBot. I wonder what change this will bring to the hugely popular bot?

tl;dr version: I've stepped down as the CEO and Chris B is now in charge. I am now a behind-the-scenes developer with Timer
Since I founded the RSBot project a few years ago I have seen and been a part of many friendship politics. The most notorious case was with a previous developer who effectively became a co-owner with me. Guys are unfortunately just as bad as girls if not worse, if you change the dynamics of a group with a new person or phase shift your strategy without gently getting the others on board with you then there will be a lot of drama. This particular drama resulted in a lawsuit against me personally, which was eventually settled.
All went well for a while and I was pleased to find some excellent talent like Chris B who has been vital in powerbot's growth. If it weren't for him the project would not be where it is today. He is definitely an unsung hero and I hope he gets far in life, because he really deserves every bit of success.
I also discovered Timer who I can now call a friend for life. We argue a lot about conceptual development philosophies and we even shared a bed together for a week (nohomo). But we work great as a team because we understand each other so well.
There's also Ironhide who along with Chris B provides a solid backbone to the community, making powerbot the best RuneScape-related social network that exists today.
Ampersand is a new recruit who has so much potential, he's been instrumental in taking the burden off my shoulders thus freeing me to focus on other priorities. Script Writers love his vision and plans and I'm happy to see that I picked the best man for the job.
Not everything is sunshine and rainbows. WinAwesome was a big mistake for instance, he did not share the same perspective as the other admins and towards the end he felt unhappy to be working here. One would expect a previous partner to be civil, but he definitely burned those bridges.
I also met Zero in 2009 and had talked to him a lot until he disappeared for some years then came back all of a sudden. Because my life had changed so much since we didn't feel the connection we once had, which destroyed the friendship. It's almost exactly like going back to your ex-girlfriend and ruining all the good memories you had with her.
The most controversial relationship of 2013 so far has been Skipa. We're on the same wavelength but we're not at the same time. It's one of those complex friendships where you can't quite understand why you like the person, but you just do. He's too sensitive and nice which makes me mad sometimes, because it feels like I'm talking to a 12 year old girl. But when I get angry with him I miss him a lot and I tend to overreact when he does little things that hurt me. This is probably the definition of bromance.
I'm fond of ShadyXL but we don't talk to each other. I chat to Submotion and find him easier to talk to because he's not a queen, but we have awkward moments where the conversation turns really gay (I'm talking about comparing cock sizes and claiming the other one is attracted to him o.o).
So evidentially I can't find the right balance between behaving professional and casual. This is why I'm officially stepping down and transferring my powers to Chris B and Ampersand. The good news is I'll be developing RSBot harder and faster, and managing the company more effectively.
