How to set up script with smart8

I knew how to do it then forgot.. L Someone please tell me. some scripts dont come with the pop out smart8 thing. How do i set up a script through smart8 WITHOUt hitting the select client button taking over my whole mouse..

{$DEFINE SMART8} or {$DEFINE SMART} if you're not using SMART8
and this goes next to program name… usually 2nd line of the script
