Let's admit it. There's nothing out right now that's remotely ideal for getting void. You have to basically be lucky to get any zeal. Everyone at PC is a bot. It's disgusting how hard it is to to win a game these days even when you are playing legit. I'll do my best to help anyone who is interested create a PC script for the intermediate boat that can attack portals and look for spinners. Shouldn't be too hard guys, right? I know this is possible with a color bot so don't tell me this isn't!

There are plenty of intermediate FC's. I started playing legit with them because that's the only way to get void these days. All you guys using Elfy's be prepared to get banned.

I'm learning the API on my free time. I've been reading the simba documentation and will reverse engineer Elfyy's script. (thanks elfyy:redface:). Any of you guys wanna help? Or are ya all a bunch of yella-bellied leachers? Let's put it this way, I'm gonna get a med boat, intelligent, Pest Control script that wins. Whether i share it or not depends on if anyone else cares to help :P

I suspect there's gonna be some jmod and pmod nuking there very soon. The bots have ruined pest control,making it take like 5 times longer than it should for the legit players. And the legit players are mad and reporting everyone. I've witnessed it, I play PC legit. I know the scripts all too well. I can tell who's probably using Elfyy's and who's using Sal's/OSBot. I'm not against PC botting, but these scripts aren't meant to win games. They're meant to kill things so that you have enough damage to get zeal when all the other players win for you. Well when more than half the people are bots, you see how that could be a problem…. Also Elfyy's antiban ironically is a dead giveaway that you're using Elfyy's script. The way it pans tha camera back and forth on the x axis till your dizzy every time your in the boat…nobody does that. And a boat full players all tweaking out with their camera angle in the same way..no…just no. Lol. Be careful bro!

If they had a botwatch effective enough to ban via that, I think a lot of other things would come under fire. Not just the pest control bots, those would be a tiny thing in comparision…and tbh that'd be great for me :P (stocked up on supplies)
But I doubt jagex will have anything good enough, though I am being cautious and running no scripts till this week passes and I see what jagex does actually do.

They don't have a bot watch. But abuse reports take a video clip of your behavior. Also if jmods went to the PC boats…they are all smart enough to know who's a bot. I'm SURE they can type the username of a person they suspect is botting and look at their screen. They know how Elfyy's PC script works too ya know. Jmods have been on these forums and they have downloaded the scripts :P That's a good idea though. I'm still botting fight caves.

Well then… To "Reverse Engineer" my script and post it, you would need my permission, which reading the way you bashed it already multiple times, no you can't use any part of it. So have fun learning to script! (It really is pretty fun tbh) :)

No, I don't need your permission to dissect your script and figure out how it works. Elfyy, it's nothing against you personal. I have so much respect for anyone who releases a script to the public. Really, it takes a good person to do that. And you'll get some good karma for that. I appreciate what you've done tremendously. That being said,you know nothing good comes out of a bunch of people using PC scripts that can't win the game. And I'm sorry but what were you thinking with that antiban? The anti-ban isn't the issue even. It's the fact that there are like 4 public pest control scripts on the internet, and everyone is using them, and no one is winning. Call it "bashing", I'm just telling the damn truth. And I will have fun scripting. I hope you understand that I want to do something that will benefit bots and legit players!

I highly doubt that when you are reported it takes a video clip of your behavior. The amount of data that they would need to send back to the servers once you have been reported wouldn't be efficient. Also what is the user is on a dial-up connection speed? It would take way to long to upload it.

You're playing on their server, they can see everything that goes on in their server. I swear I've read a Jmod say that an abuse report records the last 60 seconds before the report was made. This goes for reports made for non botting offenses too.

OF course they can see what goes on with heir server, he didn't deny that, he simply stated that the massive amount of data and storage it would take to record the previous 60 seconds and current would be absurd. Plus they would already have to be recording to pre-record 60 seconds before the report?…

I easily believe that an abuse report records the last 60 seconds of TEXT before the report was made. They use that in relation to reporting people for language and what-not. There is no way in hell they record any quantity of videeo involving reports. No way. even if each person made only one report, the quantity of data would be staggering for that. They record the text chat and (possibly and entirely undocumented) the mouse movements/clicks in that recent time. But it's not even like it matter if they record that or not anyway for us. That only affects injection bots.

Zzzz, I know I know. I just wanna see how many people end up getting da banhammer.

This is actually a valid point, remember the QBD bot banwave? The script deposited a vial/potion then withdrew the same vial/potion. It wws easy to identify the bots because they all did that every time they banked. The same thing could happen here, but I doubt it will because of there being more than one pest control script so there's less pressure to take down a specific one like there was with the QBD script. Just remember, using color isn't enough to protect you if your script has distinctive traits.

This wouldn't be a problem at all to create, but there's (at least) two issues to think about here: getting blocked by brawlers and stuck at doors. How do you know if you're blocked by a(some) brawler(s)? If you can get far enough to know you are, how do you determine which brawler it is so you can calculate a route to pass around them?

If you're in the center area of the island and you want to run to a portal to attack it, what do you do if all the doors are closed and being "spam closed" by players? What do you do if a brawler is blocking the door? How would you detect that, let alone find & walk an alternative path?

Any scripter who has attempted to tackle something complex will tell you there's more to making a script than just making your player do a task. The majority of your script will be recognizing and dealing with potential problems. Making the script do what you want? You're right, no problem. Making it recognize all possible problems and deal with each one in a specific way? That's where you'll spend 70-95% of your time…
