SRL Archive - OSR Script Requests

Currently am working on a fighter, not an AIO but a fighter for a specific location to a specific monster.

The benefit:

-Place is empty, other than the odd few players whom are on the kill for slayer tasks.
-Close to areas you can use to restore health.
-Great Exp P/H the monsters are almost as good as Yaks.

The negatives:

-If the place gets packed, it could hurt legitimate players whom are on Slayer Tasks.
-More players/bots could means more confusion to the script (can be tweaked).
-A quest is required to enter, however, its a fairly easy one.

I have the script base pretty much written (though its incomplete), just curious if any one would be interested in such training area, i believe if i post it, immediately some injection clients will pick up the area and flood it with bots/goldfarming bots for their benefit, and thats something am not looking forward to.

Also not posting where/what/when/how/who (but you can probably guess all that.

So would any one still be interested? or do you think we've done enough bots that are pretty much ruining the game for us?

personally, if it is as good as you say i would recommend not releasing it(i dont actually play RS properly so have no idea where this could be). Maybe if you wanted to release it somewhere, if it is a good well written script, you could consider applying to be a member and releasing there?

i honestly dont think the release of good/rare spots is a great idea :) but at the end of the day your call, no doubt if you do release it i'll have a wee looksy and see whats going on :D

Thank you sir, i will work on it, if its good enough to be meet the SRL member standards then i'll app with it.

Currently my other Script doesn't qualify so this one will help me learn more.
