Hey guys, I'm very new to Simba scripting as you can tell, and i was wondering how everyone learned to script? like im willing to put in a lot of time and learn the basics and build up to be able to make my own runescape scripts to give to others. posting a vid link or a way to start would help me and others that view this, and i noticed that there are very few scripts and having more writers would make more variety of scripts, which is less ban rate.

tl;dr- where can i look to start to learn to write scripts for simba, looked everywhere, helping me would help me contribute to community and other people will also learn how if they follow the same path you guys guide me in :)

Yeah, those tutorials will definitely help you then.

Estimated time? No such thing. Learn at your own pace, look off tutorials and eventually you'll know what you're doing!

Great, helping soo much so far! i had no clue where to even start! i hope i am able to make a solid script eventually, even if it isnt good i will feel accomplished haha, im gonna put a lot of time into this :) hopefully itll help me with life and not just runnescape :p

You'll find most people here at SRL are helpful :). Try not to rush yourself, take your time and get it to where you are happy with it.

Also, Pascal is a nice stepping stone into other languages.

okay cool, is there any other way learning to script and eventually learning java could help me in life? like what are some examples, i heard it can be very helpful i think
